To be Young, Gifted, & Black 💅🏾

These 4 years of school have been challenging, but nothing short of amazing, and I am nothing but proud of the woman i’ve become. In less than 2 days, I will be graduating with my Bachelors of Social Work with a minor in Criminal Justice (Cum Laude🏅). Thank you to Savannah State University for my start in the field of Social Work and thank you to Thomas University for my incredible finish. I have had the opportunity to network and take in so many lessons from so many amazing people, and if I had to, I would do it all over again (maybe 🌚).

Within these last 4 years, I have seen, I have heard, I have learned, and I have lost so none of this would be possible without God, I know i wouldn’t have made it❤️. Special thanks to everyone that has been through any of these 4 years by my side, supporting me through the best and worst times during this season. The long nights, the tears, the doubts and fears, hundreds of papers, were all worth it for this moment. Oh, and I am not done yet…

Im just getting started 🥳🎓.

Part 1 of my maternity pictures

To be honest maternity pictures are not my thing because I don’t feel like myself. I usually wait until the last minute when my nose has spread, my neck is darker, and all the other love that our babies do to us. At the end of the day, I know that I’m not pregnant forever and it’s a beautiful thing to capture these moments.
Our baby boy was so active during this photoshoot. We were feeling him kick and move as our hands were on my belly. We stand in awe of God and all that he is and all that he has done for my beautiful family.
