A throwback to August 2022 in Llanberis, with Dolbadarn Castle up on its hill and the Llanberis Lake Railway steam train running along the shore of Llyn Padarn below.
The round tower was built by Llywelyn the Great in the early 13th century. After Edward I took the castle in 1284, some of its timbers went towards building Caernarfon Castle. Turner painted it in 1800.

Went for a walk, this time in Eryri 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Wales has treated me well, as always! 💚

What a wonderful adventure this was. A much-needed escape from everyday pressures, giving my mind and soul a proper rest.

Mostly sunshine (minus one day!), a healthy dose of bogs, abandoned slate mines, incredible views and, of course, SHEEP! 🐑

I barely saw another soul on the trail, and I must say, I felt rather spoilt!

More day-to-day adventures to follow, but for now, remember to hike your own hike, enjoy the journey and be sensible in the mountains, especially around those sneaky bogs! 😂

Storm Boelo isn't going to stop me having fun 🩶

Take care everyone!

I’m still in an editing cave of wedding edits and still haven’t got around to editing any images from our last trip which I had planned to do by now. I felt that I just needed to get that done so that I can put a focus back onto these without getting distracted so I’ll be starting to go through them and start sharing after next week.

We’re also heading on our (probably) last trip of the year next week, not too far from home! Can’t wait to share this cabin with you! We’re going to make the absolute most of staying in a cabin in the woods on the lead up to Halloween too 🤣

Until then, here’s some love for a single photo from our last trip to North Wales, exploring the mountains we love.

More drone footage pending as I LOVE getting tiny shots of us.

A moody photo for a moody day!

I loved this viewpoint, heading from Capel Curig up to Crimpiau. Definitely going to visit here again when I can!

Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) is the highest mountain in Wales at 1,085m, and the Snowdon Mountain Railway has been carrying visitors towards the summit since 1896! 🌿✨

A journey above the clouds, with views worth every second! 💚☁️

Although we couldn’t record much because of the storm Austen :( it was still worth it.
