✨ Bradford to San Francisco ✨ announcing my US premiere at the @exploratorium 🌉 I'm so thrilled to finally share that I'll be exhibiting at 'Glow', 19 November 2026 to 24 January 2027, alongside incredible international established artists from Berlin, Belgium, Canada, San Francisco and London. The work heading over is 'Inner Horizons', made during my 2019 residency at the Asian Culture Center @asianculturecenter in Gwangju, South Korea. Since then, it has been shown at Selby Abbey with @medialeuk, Changwon Sculpture Biennale @changwonculture, and toured through my @aceagrams funded project to @yspsculpture, @thearthouseuk, and BD is LiT @visitbradford, reaching over 33,000 people. Most recently, it featured in 'Past/Present', my ten year anniversary solo retrospective in my studio, as part of OUR TURN (Bradford's first visual art festival) @bradfordcultureco Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture and @southsquarecentre in January 2026. Now it's crossing the Atlantic 🌊 This marks the US premiere of my work, the very first time I've shown on the North American continent, and the US premiere of 'Inner Horizons' too. It's a major career milestone for me and, to be honest, a massive dream opportunity. I couldn't be prouder to finally share the news with you all, and I'm so excited for what's to come. Anyone who knows me knows I’m a massive Hockney fan, so being invited to photograph the private reopening for the David Hockney Gallery at Cartwright Hall in his hometown of Bradford was a pretty special one for me this week. 🖤 I’ve always loved how experimental he was with his work, especially his photographic collage ‘joiners’ and the way he played with perspective and colour. I first studied his art back in art school, and he’s had a big influence on my own creative work ever since. I also love that he never stopped exploring new ways of making art. He grew up in Bradford and actually used to visit Cartwright Hall as a child to see paintings. How lovely is it that the same gallery now has a space dedicated to his own work? It’s also one of the last exhibitions he was personally involved in before he passed away in June, having helped approve works for the new display, which makes the reopening feel all the more special. It’s so good to see Bradford celebrating his life and the incredible creative legacy he’s left behind. ❤️ The gallery is now open and free to visit, so definitely worth popping in if you’re nearby! 🎨 #DavidHockney

Join us at Canker Well on The Grove, from 10.30am–4pm, for a fantastic day of FREE Halloween fun for all the family! 🎃 Watch the experts from creative arts organisation @sandinyoureye demonstrate their incredible pumpkin-carving skills. 🎃 Get creative at our pumpkin lantern-making workshops, running throughout the day.
