PREMIERE: Visitor – ‘Steel Tongue’ “...with echoes of Front 242 and the wider canon of club-ready industrial music… the video recalls David Cronenberg’s body horror, as well as occult ritual and dance-floor menace, but without being overplayed. Such restraint is rarer than it should be in a genre that often tries too hard…” Directed by Nathan Tape. Preorders are live today, and the album lands 30 November. Streaming available via Bandcamp. 🛸🛸🛸Hey Tiohtià:ke - Montréal, I’m helping out for the next @mainmaudite_ event, a very cool and spooky night hosted by @nights.of.worship VISITOR: just released a LP on @disko.obscura ⚡seamlessly combining the best elements of old school EBM with new beat. The result is something out of time yet uniquely modern. Dark frantic beats and bass lines, Visitor will take over your body. VOYAGEUR STATIQUE: one of my favourite contemporary projects. Their shows are intense, dancy and weird, no wave meets industrial, a spiral of analogue sound dragging you to another dimension. LE TRAVAILLEUR: Apart from having the best name, one of the most authentic cold wave acts from Montreal. They don’t play very often so you should come discover this. RELIQUARY V: prowls the sonic abyss, beckoned by something darker and more fractured. Fiercely experimental, with echoes of post-punk, darkwave, and the ritual side of industrial, their music explores dark dream worlds of death, survival, and rebirth. RAWMANCE: His sound is remarkably influenced by the reel to reel essence of 80s underground music, with a global prism capturing electronic body music, wave, postpunk, italo & way more. November 7

Visitor - Disseminate , E.B.E (2017) Liminal debut album by the Industrial body music ensemble based in Edmonton Alberta. To us a quintessential proof that electronic body music (EBM) was not dead but instead had taken a new breath and crawled from the ground upwards with sheer force and power, fuelled by tactical drum patterns and obscure angular synthesizers to bring forth the turmoils of the very existent dichotomy between the human and the machine. Listen to the full album by visiting our bio where you’ll discover their music as well as the other musical works by the acts accompanying us that night. Main Maudite & NoW are proud to present Visitor for the very first time in Montreal. Featuring: Reliquary V, Le Travailleur, Voyageur Statique and Rawmance.
