Absolutely love the bright, airy yet cosy space at @visitors_sg . Located in Tanjong Pagar, this Korean inspired cafe has quite a minimalist menu but they do their items right - from the signature Visitors cream latte (creamy black sesame w coffee) to their normal lattes - the drinks are always pretty good quality!! ☕️ have paid multiple visits and their food and drink don’t disappoint.

They have a small selection of sandwiches 🥪🐓🌱 and I propensity like the basil garlic chicken - a light yet delicious chicken w crispy lettuce, tomatoes and their own garlic basil sauce sandwiched between two crispy slices of sourdough - a very fresh, clean taste.

Desserts wise, they have black sesame or mugwort cheesecake 🧀🍰 which is quite special - we tried the mugwort basque cheesecake which had earthy notes like a warm hug.

don’t let the greyish colour fool you, the black sesame is rich, prominent and nutty! it is pleasantly infused in the cheesecake and also in the generous amount of sauce drizzled on top, and the best part is it does not overpower the delightful tanginess of cream cheese~ the cheesecake is firm yet indulgently creamy in the centre 🍰🖤

𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 ($15++) ✨

you can choose 2 flavours to go with their deliciously flaky and buttery croissant 🥐 we got the 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐚 and 𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞 - preferred the latter as the sweet-sourness of the blueberry jam added more flavour as compared to the honey ricotta that was overall quite sweet and one-dimensional (can’t really taste the ricotta)~

𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐞𝐠𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 ($13++)

ordered for the novelty of it but this is really just something that looks better than it tastes 😅🫣 the truffle oil and parmigiano reggiano (cheese) were fragrant but the baguette sticks were way too hard and dry 😳 ngl the roof of my mouth suffered some scratches.. or maybe i ate it wrongly? 🥲

love a runny soft boiled egg~

their coffee is good 🌟

the 𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 ($6.50++) is robust and balanced in coffee to milk ratio while the 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞 ($8++) is definitely a must-try for black sesame lovers with the creamy and earthly black sesame layer~

the interior seating is cosy and homely, and you feel like a visitor in someone’s living room 🏠 there’s a pet friendly outdoor dining with fans and equally zen vibes~

👩‍💻can you believe this is my first time here?! cause how did it take me this long to try this place, definitely not my last time coming here for sure

▪️basil garlic chicken sandwich $18
sourdough, marinated chicken breast, basil garlic mayonnaise, argula, sun-dried tomato, this was a yummy sandwich, the mayonnaise definitely gave the breast meat that extra moisture it needed, theirs is the shredded breast meat texture so you get that extra texture, the sun dried tomato added a nice touch of sweetness and the tanginess of the pickle was needed to cut through the sandwich, the sourdough tbh was not very prominent and in terms of sourdough taste, it was quite nicely toasted and crispy as seen from the slight charred bread outer texture

their coffee is pretty decent, and my friend enjoyed her white very much, ig the koreans really do know their coffee well and this place proved that statement

i really enjoyed this, the creamy garlic mayo marinade went well with the tender shredded chicken and love the pairing of basil which makes it refreshing! but note that it’s a cold sandwich so may not be your thing if u prefer warm sandwiches.

⭐️ visitors cream latte | $8
enjoyed this too mainly bc i love bssm but it’s quite rich so can get jelak. i liked that both coffee & bssm was equally strong tho!

yes we did come here to share one Basque Cheese Cake. (bssm) | $11 bef gst

quite ex sia but v creamy and heavy. much less dry w the drizzle! while i liked the infused black sesame taste, we agreeed it can be one dimensional in terms of texture (maybe can add crumbs?) and leaned to the creamy > nutty side so may be jelak if eaten alone or even shared btwn 2pax

am still curious of the mugwort bbc but this was more of a one time try for me considering the steep price. space is v cute, can imagine chilling here on a quiet day

From the same team behind @nocibakehouse and @noci.pastabar comes @visitors_sg, a new Korean-inspired café in Tanjong Pagar! 🇰🇷☕️

Their all-day menu features brunch favourites, pastries and sourdough sandwiches, including the classic 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲 with ham and butter, and the 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗹 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 with marinated chicken breast, basil garlic mayo, arugula and sun-dried tomatoes. 🥪

We also managed to catch their 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗽𝘆𝗲𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲, a seasonal collaboration with @__sy_g inspired by the traditional Korean rice cake enjoyed during Chuseok. Made with a nutty milk base, it’s topped with honey cream and sesame oil! Unfortunately, the collaboration ended on 30 September, so this one’s no longer available 🥲

@tonshou_sg took my heart with their free flow corn soup, miso soup, kimchi & rice - btw their rice is so chewy and soft i had 2 bowls when i rlly initially only wanted one

@filledintheblank cravings sorted with their amazing fusion risotto - approved by certified laksa lover here

@umyongbaek_sg i love ur soup sm

@tanukiraw beef bowls and chirashi bowls were so fresh + so worth during bday 1-for-1 promo!

@visitors_sg vibes & coffee were great, black sesame latte was so unique

@twomenbagelhouse didnt see two men there but loved their bagels & pls get their coffee and onion rings too

@mollytea.sg my absolute love - thankfully only waited 15mins for this

@49seats served industrial vibes with generous portions

homecooked food is so comforting <3
