The sheer luck to be able to visit Rovinj during its most heartfelt celebrations: the days dedicated to Sveta Eufemija, patron saint of the city.
How I miss everything ❤️

A business trip, with a little bit of Rovinj in between. 🇭🇷

I came to Rovinj for Finance Weekend, mainly to learn more about how AI is changing the world of finance, meet new people, exchange ideas and hopefully take a few steps forward in my own career.

And while most of the time was spent in sessions and conversations, there was also some time to simply walk around and enjoy the city.

Rovinj has a very special atmosphere. The narrow streets, the sea, great food, people taking their time, and that feeling of calm that seems to follow you everywhere.

And then there is a sunset.

One of those moments when people gather around, stop thinking about their work for a while, take a moment and just enjoy being there.

I’m still going through the photos from the weekend, so there’s more from Rovinj coming soon. 📷

This is Rovinj, Croatia 🇭🇷

What Rovinj actually looks like from above?

Istria’s old town sitting on its own little peninsula, red rooftops packed in tight under the bell tower of St. Euphemia, the Adriatic wrapped around all three sides.

A short flight along the coastline and over the old town, mainly for anyone thinking about visiting Rovinj and wanting to see the place before they book anything — the harbor, the narrow streets from up top, how blue the water actually gets once you’re out past the peninsula.

Part of Coast. Crest. Clouds., filming coastlines and mountains across Europe one flight at a time.
