Some places don't need words.
Just light, stone, and centuries of stories.
Where light meets history, and the beauty is in the details.

What's the first thing came up in your mind?

Who else loves exploring a new city?

Recently I visited Catania in Sicily and I have to say it was probably one of the best experiences places I have ever taken photos. Around the old town was so much street art and graffiti all mixed in with the beautifully coloured historic buildings.

I took these photos just in front of Villa Cerami. I have never seen anything like it before. I absolutely loved the contrast between the graffiti and the old buildings.

Petralia Soprana is undoubtedly one of the most emblematic villages in the Madonie Islands. It is very well preserved, with its narrow stone streets and ancient churches. The Chiesa del Santissimo Salvatore stands out because, as you can see from its circular floor plan, it was once an old mosque, a testament to the history of Sicily, which has seen numerous cultures throughout its existence, and all of it is within easy reach.
