Haven’t posted on here in about a year, been doing some healing. But last week I got back from some time in Montana and it was the culmination of some affirmation I wasn’t aware I needed - that felt like it should be not only documented, but marked. This ranch holds a unique place in my heart and memory and if I’m honest I was hesitant about returning and at times overwhelmed with yesterday and what looks now like almosts and could’ve beens. But I didn’t return, as if I went backwards. I revisited, like a river bend. Same spot, different flow. I don’t know what’s next still. But some things I’m sure of coming off the mountain… vulnerability is a superpower. Crying is manly. Grief is a gift. The Blood still works. Atlanta has haters. Vegetables can be just as delicious as dessert if you have the right chef. Delays are gifts. The story of scripture is the story of God clothing humanity. I love us. I came to Montana looking forward to a few days of fly fishing. I left with new friends, a renewed perspective, and a heart full of gratitude for what God was doing all along. The mountains were beautiful, but what I’ll remember most are the people. Thankful for the conversations, the encouragement, and the reminder that God grows us through community. Thank you to @burntforkranch for your incredible hospitality, and to @grantskeldon and @cheyanneskeldon for bringing us all together and making this week possible. Grateful for every person I met, and looking forward to seeing how God continues to work in each of our lives.

Montana was nothing short of special. What a beautiful time of retreat, connection, and communion with old and new friends at Burnt Fork Ranch, and it all kicked off on my birthday. Over the years, I’ve been on many retreats with my @thinq_media and Young Guns family, but let me just say… this one was different. What a beautiful blend of people from different walks of life, experiences, and regions. God orchestrated this unique group of people to come together at the perfect time. So many of us needed a breath of fresh air that only community like this could provide. I know I’m leaving with lifelong friendships and meaningful connections. I can’t wait to see what God does through these relationships in the years to come. I definitely left better than I came. A huge thank you to Grant, @cheyanneskeldon, @teaganlenox, and @ava_rhoads_ for all the work you put into making this retreat so special and ensuring we had the best possible experience. You all are incredible gifts to the Kingdom. Love y’all. 🤎

When I reflect on this weekend, one word continues to anchor my thoughts: hesed—the steadfast, covenantal love of God that does not waver, even when we do. I came into this retreat weary, overwhelmed, and struggling to hold onto hope. With a quiet yes, I went, sensing the Lord’s gentle invitation to “go and see.”What met me there was not merely rest, but a tangible encounter with His mercy,His faithful, and His enduring love expressed through both His presence and these people. Throughout the weekend, the Lord worked a deep renewal in my heart. In every conversation, every moment of worship, every meal, every shared silence, I caught glimpses of His kindness and faithfulness with a call to come closer. So many of us came from different places, but we were united by a singular longing to draw near to Him. On that hill, as we worshiped with the sun setting over the mountains, I was reminded that God’s hesed is not just abstract—it is experienced, embodied, and endures forever. This season of life has been uniquely hard but at this place I was met with unexpected sharpening, joy, and love. And in that, the Lord restored hope within me that Im still searching for the words to express. I will not forget what He did, nor the people through whom He revealed Himself so clearly. To @grantskeldon and @cheyanneskeldon, thank you for stewarding a space marked by intentionality, beauty, and rest. May the Lord continue to use you as instruments of His grace, inviting others into rest and renewal. And to this community—know that you are a testimony of God’s faithful love. When season get hard and trials come, your faces, every conversation, and our experience together will be apart of what I recall to mind as a reminder of God’s hesed. I carry you with me, and I pray that what the Lord began among us will continue to bind us together in Him. Until next time 🥹🙏🏾
