Being a creative can be overwhelming. 🎥📸 Sometimes, it feels like everyone is getting the gigs, growing, and moving forward while you’re still trying to figure things out.

But remember, your journey is not a race. Everyone has their own timing, and your season will come too. Keep creating, keep learning, and keep showing up. Don’t let someone else’s progress make you doubt your own.

Your time will come. Trust the process. Keep creating. ❤️‍🔥

One of the hardest parts of being a videographer or cinematographer is finding YOUR OWN STYLE. 🎥🔥

We all start by learning from others, recreating shots, and getting inspired by the people we admire. And that’s part of the journey. But don’t get so caught up in someone else’s style that you forget to develop your own.

Learn from others, get inspired, but never stop discovering your own creative voice. The goal isn’t to shoot like everyone else; it’s to create work that people can recognise as yours.

Your style takes time. Be patient with the process. 🎬

Master your craft to the point where your skills speak louder than your gear. 🎥🔥

The camera is just a tool. Your creativity, knowledge, and ability to tell stories are what make you different. Master the craft, not just the equipment.

Color grading doesn’t have to be complicated. 🎨

Two simple steps:
1️⃣ Convert your S-Log to Rec.709
2️⃣ Add your personal look.

That’s it.

Unless you’re working on a high-end commercial or feature film, don’t overcomplicate the process. Your goal is to create an image that looks good and, most importantly, looks good to your client.

Keep it simple. Get the look. Deliver. 🎬

Maiden flight with the DJI Avata 360 🚀🔥

What an experience! The control, the movement, the perspective… absolutely insane. This is just the beginning of a whole new level of flying and creating. 🎥🚁

More flights. More experiments. More visuals.
Let’s see where this takes me. 👀🔥

New drone. New perspective. 🚁🔥

Quick look at the DJI Avata 360 and what it brings to my creative workflow. I’m excited to push my drone skills, explore new angles, and take my visuals to another level.

Time to fly different. 🎥🚀

I’m not just building for myself. I’m doing everything I can to make sure the generation coming after me has something worth building on.

The sacrifices, the struggles, the long nights — they all mean something.

I’m building today so they can survive, dream, and thrive tomorrow. 📸 @romeolekay

🎥 VIDEOGRAPHER HACK: SHOOT 60FPS!

When you’re in a run-and-go situation, you don’t always have time to plan every shot. Shooting 60fps gives you flexibility — you can slow your footage down to 25fps in post and create smooth slow motion when needed.

If you have the time and control, shoot 24/25fps for that natural cinematic motion.

But when things are moving fast? 60fps gives you options. 🔥

Shoot smart. Create more. 🎬

White balance matters. 🎥

No matter what look you’re going for, if your white balance is off, your grade will fight you in post.

Get it right in-camera, and give yourself a clean starting point for the grade. 🎨

Shoot right. Grade better.

Creatives, we focus so much on gear, lighting, and technical skills that we sometimes forget two important things:

1. SOLVE PROBLEMS.
Clients aren’t just paying for your camera skills. They’re paying you to find solutions.

2. PRICE PROPERLY.
Know your value. Understand the project. Charge accordingly.

Being good at the craft is one thing. Knowing how to turn your craft into a business is another.
