Season finale. LDC Day 2- Crashed out/ DNF. Everyone’s okay, still can’t feel my legs, but otherwise just bumps and bruises. Thankful the car did its job and me and @fourlow got away unscathed for the most part. Sadly, the chassis appears to have twisted pretty good. Managed to do a full barrel roll without touching the roof. And landed on our side. Part of racing, going to have them bad days with the good days. Thank you to @powersport_pros for building a car that kept us safe. @herlingracing and @energycontractor for all the help getting us to the races and the hospitality this weekend. If it wasn’t for the crash, it was an absolutely epic weekend at the races. I have the best team of friends around me I could have ever asked for. Huge shoutout to @matthews_media__ for the content this weekend. He absolutely killed it and is awesome to work with. Time to rebuild and be back for 2027.

What an event by SNORE at the Dirt Shades Caliente 250! We’re super stoked to come away with P1 OVERALL against the entire field.

This was easily one of the most fun—and challenging—races of the year. Tight cliff-edge sections, trees, loose and slippery shale rock, water crossings, and even wild horses crossing the course. Caliente had a little bit of everything.

We pushed hard from the start, worked through the UTV field and then set our sights on the 6100 trucks. After making a couple passes, we moved into P1 overall on corrected time by the half way mark, running behind the Herbst truck on course.

For about 50 miles we absolutely sent it trying to close the gap—taking some big risks and getting within visual range, but never quite close enough to get on his bumper. We thought the tight tree sections would be our opportunity, but the heavy stagnant dust actually made the trees even tougher to close the gap.  And one fun takeaway was watching the amazing skills of Herbst helicopter pilot jetting through the canyons and trees.

When the dust settled, we ended up bringing home the overall by a little over 2 minutes.

And through all of it—no hiccups and no flats. Codawg Kendall never had to get out of the Polaris Factory Pro R once.

Huge shout out to Kendall for calling an awesome race, the Lantz family for coming out, Campbell for the race support, and the water polo boys for being part of the weekend.

And, as always, none of this happens without mom, dad and the incredible companies that support the program.

The dust and mud has settled from R2V and just reflecting on what a great weekend we all had in the desert. Although it never seems to fail that something sets us back before the race and this was no exception. From the chase truck having issues and in the dealership the whole time we were in Reno to smashing the trailer into a telephone pole perseverance and stress was at a all-time high we would have never made the start had @jayhale7531 never found the parts we needed in salt lake and @kerryelynn driving them out to us. Huge thanks to @ramon.j.rivera & @michael.rivera54 for pulling my trailer with me and @muzzy9817 to the start barely in time to stage as the truck was getting finished up. As for the race we had a great pace going making plenty of passes until we lost brakes right before pit 1 and didn’t get them fully resolved by pit 5 putting us down about 45 minutes. Thanks to @fourlow for finding the problem in pit 4 and getting them to work for a bit. We had some new blood on the team this time @matthew_delahunty @jake_delahunty & @anaiddelahunty first time ever at an off-road event and they were our only chase guys and they absolutely crushed it! Welcome to the team boys!!
Thanks to @vitalmotionco for helping cover our first few pits for reassurance and @wannabe_wagon & @the_nunnery for taking care our first fuel pit. (Super quick!) Besides losing brakes for the first half we ran a flawless 2nd half coming in 24th out of 62 in class. We had such a blast ripping through the Nevada desert. I can’t thank everyone enough for making this all possible and can’t wait for the next one! #swirlwoodcraftracing @jayhale7531 @jodeforfun @polarisrzr @bilsteinus @animal.installations @omfperformance @m81designs @sparcousa @weddleindustries @theutvpros 📸: @harlenfoley @dirtnationmag
