The trainer's trainer!!

I don't get to train with this man enough these days. He taught me everything I knew in the beginning, training me 6 hours a day, 7 days a week for around a year when I was 19 before moving he moved to South London and became a legendary coach at @teamundergroundmma_official

He gave me a skill that helped me change my life and has helped me provide the kind of life I could only dream of for my family.

I owe this man so much

Thank you Franta 💪🏾

Ok, here is proof my kicking wasn’t always great…
(And neither was the camera quality on phones 😅)

I mean it’s decent but It was bloody hard work man.
Everyday.
The shit took time, you get me. 🕰️

But the more I practiced, the easier it got.

I am not saying I was throwing head kicks in the first month, but my rotation started to make sense, my balance felt more stable, and I was able to hit the same part of the bag during my 100 kicks (my real kickers know what’s up) 🤙🏽

Eventually, without stressing about it daily, I was able to hit my head kick.

Now this was not my main goal at all throughout my journey.

I wanted to throw solid Muay Thai kicks to the body like I saw my older brothers throwing it on the bag.

The sound, the torque, the power! 🤩
Amazing!
That’s what I wanted.

However, I learned way more about my journey than tearing up the bag.

I learned timing, patience, improved technique, explosive power, super speed, incredible balance, better breathing, so much gained… Unintentionally.

See, I acquired way more than i set out to achieve.

That’s the JOURNEY.

You can have a goal but en route to that goal, you gain so much MORE than you think.

Embrace your journey because you will be blessed with much more than what you set out to achieve!
