Happy Father's Day to the guy who never says no be it a new journey, wild ideas (which we have no shortage of 😀), or a spontaneous turn that turns into a great adventure!

Thanks for always being down for the ride. Here’s to a lifetime of more!

Ruhaan turns 12 today! Here is Ruhaan playing Charlie in Willy Wonka Jr! This past year has been one for new adventures. From joining the student council, leading the Lego robotics team, and writing research papers, Ruhaan has consistently worked very hard on new experiences. But this was the most surprising of all!

Given that Ruhaan's voice is in that changing phase, we certainly didn't think joining Prizker's annual musical production as a lead character was on the list.

And Pritzker's Musicals are no joke! Being a school with a performing arts emphasis, their musicals are massive undertakings with 190 students and months of rehearsals. But Ruhaan worked extremely hard and gave it their all!

So proud of this awesome human being! Happy Birthday, kiddo!

Ruhaan's Pritzker Lego Robotics team is advancing to NATIONAL Invitationals!! The top 2 out of 500+ teams across IL go to worlds, and the next 9 or so teams get invited to national events. And well, one of those will be Team Bad Handwriting!

The entrepreneur in me was also very proud of this - FLL isn't only about Lego Robotics. They also have to create a solution to a real-world problem, called the Innovation Project. They won 2nd prize at the State level for creating an ACTUAL WORKING PROTOTYPE for something that can be a commercially successful product.

And finally, the absolute icing on the cake! Vivek won the BEST COACH AWARD at the state level! Two weeks ago, Vivek's RIGHT RETINA DETACHED. Yup, straight up detached. But this dedicated coach continued to guide his team between ER visits, emergency surgery, and slow healing, where, for 7 days, he had to stay face down for 45 minutes out of every hour!

Best feeling as a mom? How many people noticed and complimented us yesterday on Ruhaan's leadership skills! Always, the rock of the team, never losing his calm, reassuring others when they get distraught, and so on.

What a perfect Valentine's Day this was, celebrating something we love as a family!

So far, Prague has been absolutely amazing! The history, the culture, the food, no wonder this is one of the most popular cities in Europe.

Cuisines we have tried so far: Czech, Georgian, Arabic. Loved seeing: Prague Castle, St. Nicholas church, Charles Bridge, astronomical clock, etc.

More to come!
