Quarter Mile, Talking Cars, Content with Cars

$Porsche in India has an identity crisis. Its definitely one of the most aspirational brands with a great motorsport pedigree . In india however 70% of its sale constitutes of SUVs for obvious reasons , however they are way behind in the EV game . They have to rethink why their expensive EV strategy flopped , is it because a primarily motorsport brand was trying so hard to sell EVs or is it because they were way behind in EV tech compared to Chinese brands that sell same tech at a fraction of the cost . Time to go back to the drawing board . A brand built on engineering excellence, motorsport heritage and pure driving pleasure is increasingly being reduced to Instagram reels, YouTube thumbnails, delivery videos and social status. I feel that they should not play the spec game like a Ferrari but make their cars accessible to the true blue enthusiast. You really dont need PTS or 70l options for a Gt3. Dont get me wrong but the problem isn’t that influencers and ultra wealthy owns Porsches. It’s that the loudest voices are often the ones talking least about what makes a Porsche special. Where are the conversations about chassis balance, braking performance, steering feel, naturally aspirated engines and the thrill of mastering a car on track? Porsche should be building a culture of driving enthusiasts, not just a bigger audience of badge collectors. They should do more track sessions and focused driving lessons for the discerning enthusiast. A Porsche is more than a flex. It’s an engineering masterpiece. Own it for the machine, not merely for the attention it brings. Less posing. More driving. Less clout. More character. 🏁 #Porsche #Porsche911 #GT3 #CarCulture AutomotiveEnthusiast$
