I am still unpacking Easter, but the top of my cupboard is done. The vintage metal easter basket that is used with my miniature tree was found many years ago at an antique store that was closing. I love the graphics. The felted Pom Pom chick and bunny were made by the talented @vivianneroni and if you swipe in a few pics, you’ll see the sweetest bunny pin cushion created by @dimestorechic . Cheers to filling every flat surface in my sunroom with Easter decor!

Sharing my @magpieethel Halloween treasures. I feel blessed to have been able to collect so many of her creations over the years. I’ve also tucked in a special spider created by @vivianneroni . The vintage Halloween napkin was a recent find by my husband and has been given a spot on my wall. Swipe for closeups.

Halloween hugs, my friends. I can’t believe it’s nearly here!

As promised, here is my 2023 Halloween tree. It might be my favorite holiday themed tree, but I say that about all my trees.

The white tree was purchased last year from @goodwillgrmi for $2. It’s stayed up since last Halloween where it has enjoyed Christmas, Chinese New Year, St Patrick’s day, Easter and most recently tiki decor and flamingos.

It’s filled with lots of vintage Halloween picks that I’ve collected from estate sales over the years and Halloween ornaments from former crafting swaps.

The tree topper is a cardboard haunted house that I embellished with dimensional crafting stickers and a hole in the base allows it to stay in place.

New this year are the Halloween pumpkin bubble lights that Chris found at a garage sale. The knee hugger witches are always front and center and so hard to find now. Years ago, I took 4h award ribbons and gave them Halloween makeovers.

I especially love my Halloween felt needled kitties of my girls made by the talented @vivianneroni

Swipe for closeups and a video tour of my tree. Halloween hugs from my house!

This month’s holiday cupboard decorations showcase my grandmother’s kookie wabbit jar, special needle felted bunny and Easter chick made by @vivianneroni (Viv) and my favorite vintage Easter tin basket. My green flocked rabbits are sitting inside vintage cottage cheese containers with a few vintage Easter squeak toys.

We’re ready for the Easter Bunny or the Easter Beagle.

It might only be early September, but I couldn’t wait to decorate my Halloween tree. As promised, here’s my 2022 tour. It might be my favorite holiday themed tree, but I say that about all my trees.

The white tree was recently purchased from @goodwillgrmi for $2. It’s filled with lots of vintage Halloween picks that I’ve collected from estate sales over the years. The tree topper is one of my favorite vintage blowmolds. The knee hugger witches are always front and center. I also took 4h award ribbons and gave them Halloween makeovers. My favorite ornaments were found at an estate sale and are made from styrofoam balls, Halloween napkins and covered in white glue and glitter. I also love my Halloween felt needled kitties made by the talented @vivianneroni

Swipe for closeups and a video tree tour! Halloween hugs from my house!

Sharing some of my favorite #eggs for this week’s #theretroroulette wheel with @vintagevspot and @oldhappyhome. The felt eggs with the Pom Pom chick and bunny were created by @vivianneroni several years ago. The wooden egg cups and tin Easter egg candy containers have been picked up over time from various estate sales. I’m also reposting the handmade decorated egg diorama ornaments because they are worthy of a second glance. I even threw in my favorite deviled eggs platter and the sweetest messiest picture of my youngest decorating eggs as a toddler. 🐣💕🥚
