It was a pleasure to host the @accsocalchapter for the 2nd year along with 20 general council lawyers for an intimate multi course dinner at @thekitchencollectivecm alongside our chef team @chefbrandonhall
Our 15 year aged parmesan wheel is always a big hit, especially when we’re serving @vivispasta accompanied with a lawyer’s favorite go to cocktail….a smoked old fashioned. A big thank you to @instygramber for organizing this event with us!

PASTA NIGHT IN OC !!! 🍝✨ @verdeverjus is easily my favorite restaurant, and I was completely blown away by the quality of the food here.

What makes it stand out? 👇
• Handmade pasta from @vivispasta
• From-scratch cooking
• Thoughtfully sourced ingredients
• No seed oils
• Amazing shareable plates
• Great wine + cocktails

This is not just about the pasta either. The whole menu feels so intentional, and for the quality, it’s surprisingly affordable too.

Their exclusive pasta night happens every Friday + Saturday from 5 PM to 9 PM, and it honestly feels like one of the most unique dinner experiences in Orange County right now. 🤍

Get in a car and drive until you are out of town because this Golden Oyster Linguini was phenomenal. Amazing fresh pasta by @vivispasta with our delightfully delicate golden oysters. The pasta had the perfect chew, the oyster mushrooms had a hint of oak and earthy umami. Paired with a crisp dry white wine and you're in the next place under heaven. You can find us both at @alisoviejocfm and @stonegatecfm come say hi!

Recipe:

Boil a couple cups of water in a small pot, lightly salted.

Dry pan medium heat, sweat mushrooms with a dash of salt, toss until you see some color on the shrooms. Add some olive oil and grate one clove garlic into pan, couple tosses till fragrant.

Cook fresh linguini 3 minutes and transfer into pan with tongs. Toss everything together and add splashes of pasta water until a starchy sauce begins to form (about one minute of constant tossing/stirring).

Grate in fresh Parmesan to taste and toss. Serve with a lemon wedge and a nice bottle of any dry white wine you love.
