I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting lately, and even in the midst of uncertainty, I have so much to be grateful for.

I’ve had the honor of working with some incredibly talented musicians and models. Many of them have gone on to be scouted by renowned modeling agencies, walked at New York fashion week and have done work for global campaigns after collaborating with me. Watching their careers grow and knowing I played a part in that journey fills me with so much pride and joy.

Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of doing makeup for music videos and global campaigns with brands like Nike, Adidas, Instagram, Dell, Volkswagen, AMD, Allbirds, Nespresso, Topo Chico, SuperMush, Toon Blast, Lone Star Brewing Co., and Xavier Omär, performers at Austin City Limits and Boiler Room as well as political and gubernatorial candidates. Each experience has shaped me and sharpened my artistry.

I recently met the legendary @DanessaMyricks, someone I’ve looked up to for years. She was warm, generous, and even signed a hard copy of my portfolio book, which means the world to me.

I also recreated one of @MakeupbyChelseax’s stunning looks from Paris Fashion Week for @doechii, and to have both of them acknowledge and appreciate my work is something I’ll never forget.

I've managed to do all of this while navigating the world through a chronic autoimmune disease called #scleroderma. Battling crippling anxiety and depression And receiving a late diagnosis of ADHD and Autism. Working my ass off, in spite of the burnout to get out of survival mode. Through all the highs and lows I’m constantly reminded that I've truly overcome so much. And It's ok to take a moment to celebrate these wins because they remind me that I’m aligned with my purpose.

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged and spoken words of encouragement and life into me, supported me, collaborated with me, spoken my name into rooms I've had yet to access, or simply believed in me. I’m grateful for every step, every lesson, and every opportunity.

I’ve slowly begun receiving more bookings that have me feeling creatively energized and hopeful for what's ahead.

Are you ready to create something together?

Freelancers don’t get hired in silence.
The reality of freelance life: No bookings = No income
Right now, I’m struggling just to afford food and bills. Work has been slow and basically non-existent, and as a disabled and Neurodivergent creative, traditional jobs aren’t always accessible to me. I rely on my craft to support myself, so if you know of any opportunities, I’d love your help!

Check out my portfolio at www.vivistep.com and DM me for inquiries!

Creativity has been my life line for as long as I can remember. I've had the opportunity to share my passion for makeup, creative direction, and photography with many other creatives, globally recognized brands and clients alike. I don't know what I'd do if I could no longer share this part of myself with the world, And I am NOT about to find out.
