Clap it up for our student leaders! They play a crucial role in Homecoming, helping to plan some of the weekend’s biggest events. We asked a few of them to share their thoughts about Homecoming 2025; see the link in our bio for the full story and catch some snippets below.

➡️ Lark Mueller ’26
CAB and MTA President

Q: What are you most excited about doing at Homecoming '25?
A: I just wanna take it all in! This will be my last Homecoming, and it’s such a special time of year, so I want to enjoy it as much as I can. I also have a tradition with Stephanie Tovar of taking a Polaroid together every Apple Fest, so I’m looking forward to completing the set.

➡️ Delia Kravits ’27
Director, "The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals: The Musical:

Q: What are you most excited about doing at Homecoming '25?
A: I’m looking forward to seeing my cast shine on stage. This group of people has been working tirelessly to put this show together, and I’m so glad they get to share their work with an audience full of their family and friends. I can’t wait to feel like a proud mom watching them kill it out there!

➡️ Vivian Passonneau ’27
CAB Special and Annual Events Chair

Q: What's your favorite Homecoming memory?
A: My first time seeing The Throne perform at my freshman year Apple fest. I enjoy seeing the collaboration among them that allows every member to showcase their talents and energy.

➡️ Caroline Hanson ’27
SGA President

Q: What tips or recommendations would you offer to new students?
A: Stopping by Apple Fest is a must! If not for the free snacks and adorable t-shirt, then for the mugs that SGA is giving out (shameless self-plug)! There are also walking tours with Mary Brown, whom I’ve had the pleasure of taking a History class with. I highly recommend it for those looking for something a bit different! And of course, MMC’s Got Talent is a must-see!

🗓️ April 15 is less than a week away, and as taxpayers hurry to file their returns by the deadline, they're getting a helping hand from MMC Business students.

The College participates in the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, which offers free tax prep services to low- to moderate-income filers, individuals with disabilities, and limited English speakers. MMC has supported the initiative since 2011, with students helping to prepare hundreds of income tax returns over the years.

Evelyn Nista ’27, Christina Newland ’25, Eliza Chandler ’27, Vivian Passonneau ’27 (all pictured here), and Maya Covarrubias ’27 took part this spring under the guidance of Associate Professor of Accounting and Assistant Business Division Chair Andrea Tsentides. Each of the students completed hours of online tax law and software training to pass IRS certification exams.

Learn more about their work at the link in our bio! 💙
