🕊🤍. Relevant caption for the times we are in. . . Dealing with grief is something I’ve had to learn within the last two years of my life, and every year it gets closer to home. From my experience, as it gets closer & deeper, I’ve realised not much words help, you’ve just got to feel what you feel & keep moving. So I won’t say anything cliche. What I will say is, allow yourself to feel what you need to feel. Healing is such a RAW experience. It hits at anytime/any hour of the day, unprovoked no matter how long it’s been. It can hit on your happiest days, when you hear a song or when you’re just in the shower deeping life. You can be sad one minute, then boom you’re happy the next. It’s so weird. Whatever your process is like, you are normal, even when you don’t feel nothing. And it’s okay to still be happy with your own personal life, so never feel guilty. Whatever you do in your process is okay because it’s YOUR process. Just never stop moving through the process. Keep your head above water. Never feel personally attacked by God for taking your loved one away, his plan is greater even when it makes no sense. This grief is not in vain, and the process is so humbling. It teaches you strength, it teaches you about other people, and it makes you appreciate life. Enjoy this raw process.
