W T F con esta life I used to think life was about running. Running to get things done, to keep up, to never stop. Until my body decided to change the pace. I have a rare neurological autoimmune disease called Stiff Person Syndrome. My body gets stiff, I experience spasms, and things that once felt automatic now require help and adaptation. For a long time, I wanted my body to be different. Now I’m learning to stop fixing my body and start supporting it. Needing help doesn’t make me less. Doing things differently doesn’t mean giving them up. I don’t need to be who I was to still be me. Maybe I was never meant to run. #lentoquevamosdelargo #stiffpersonsyndrome #autoinmunes
