POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
When I moved to Long Island in April, I had pretty much convinced myself that fitness wasn’t a sustainable career anymore. Coming out of the pandemic as a fitpro was a major adjustment— physically, emotionally, spiritually & financially. The fitness industry just isn’t the same post-pandemic, and honestly, I wasn’t sure I’d ever find my way back.

A few weeks after moving, I bumped into the lead instructor of Club Pilates Southampton at a coffee shop. Her dog reminded me of Kora, and we started chatting. Long story short, she passed my info to the studio owner, and after a few months of consulting, I was offered the GM role. I was hesitant—I’d been here before and despite winning GM of the Year with Stride Fitness, that experience left me feeling like I was never “enough.”🤓

But life has a funny way of bringing us exactly where we need to be. Taking on this role wasn’t just about managing a studio—it was about building a supportive culture & proving to myself that I’m capable and worthy of making an impact in people’s & my teams lives through being of service.😌

Fast forward to this month: I attended Convention 2024—the same place I won GM of the Year for Stride two years ago. This time, it felt different. I wasn’t seeking validation. I was just me. I reconnected with old friends, made new ones, and felt completely inspired all over again. Being surrounded by incredible humans who share the same purpose—to help others feel better—is pure magic. It reminded me why I fell in love with this industry in the first place.✨

It’s taken a lot to get here, but this trip was one of the final pieces to the puzzle of rediscovering my love for fitness. I’m in a good place again & every day, my amazing team at Club Pilates Southampton (last pic 🥹) inspires me. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.🩵
