One can, two cans, who can, YOU CAN! It’s time for our annual canned food drive, and this year, we’re bringing the world of Dr. Seuss to life as we collect non-perishable food items for the Murrieta Community Pantry! Last year, our Bronco family collected just under 9,000 food items to support local families in need. Let’s see if we can beat that record this year! Remember, Service is one of the pillars of C.L.A.S.S., and this is your chance to put that commitment into action. We’ll be hosting a friendly competition between 5th-period classes, so encourage your classmates to participate and help your class climb to the top! Here’s how you can earn service hours: For every 4 cans or non-perishable food items you donate, you’ll receive 1 hour of community service credit (maximum 5 hours)! Students, it is your responsibility to add up the number of items you donate, divide by 4 to determine how many community service hours you are eligible to receive, and write that number under the hours worked column before you present your log to your teacher for a signature. Additional service logs are available in the ASB/Senate room, P117. Bring your donations to your 5th-period teacher, who will verify the number of items you submit by signing your service log. Broncos, let’s come together, make a difference, and show our community what it means to live CLASS the Bronco Way! One can, two cans, who can, YOU CAN!
