Our EP Made From Recycled Materials, Vol. II is available wherever you listen to music!! This is a follow up to our 2020 EP and is a celebration of breathing new life into old music. In a greater sense, we want to bring attention to the importance of recycling as a whole. In an era of excess and waste, it's paramount to think about what you could reuse instead of throwing it away. It's also important to understand what can be recycled, and what will end up in a landfill for the next 1000 years. Along with reusing and recycling is the primary goal of reducing. Reduce overall consumption of single use objects that commonly come in the form of plastics! While these are lofty ideals to express solely through music, we hope that you spend some time to put purpose into what you purchase.

We are celebrating the release of this EP with a west coast tour! First show is tonight, then it's back to back bangers till Tuesday!! Swipe for all the individual posters packed with wonderful local support. Photographer, artists, bands, and venues all tagged in their respective pics!!

Everett, Washington check out this incredible lineup!! 3 bands with varying levels of ska in a vegan cafe on a Thursday night! The only thing that's certain is that there will be a disrespectful amount of horn players on stage through the night. This will be the kickoff for Runaway Ricochet's tour down the west coast. Come celebrate with us!

Did someone ask for math ska? Anybody?? Well it's here whether you wanted it or not. Gossip was actually one of the first few songs written for Diminishing Returns cerca 2018 or 2019. The band shot it down for being too weird. So then I made it weirder and weirder until finally they said "yeah you know what that 6/8 section in the chorus really ties it all together." Jokes aside we're super proud of how this song turned out and can't wait to play it live!! We recorded with Mason at @greenwayrecording_mpls and the song was mixed/mastered by Jack Shirley at @_the_atomic_garden_

Echoing the sentiment of many other artists, it feels weird to be promoting any release amidst the federal occupation of the Twin Cities. That being said, here are a few words about the single we released today;

When Dante first started playing with Runaway Ricochet he pitched the idea to translate Daytime TV to Spanish. It sounded like a fun way to connect with the Latin ska community. Now though it feels more important than ever to unify with our Latino neighbors throughout the country. I've been learning Spanish over the last two years and I implore you to try for yourself. The immigrants I've met have been some of the most friendly and kind hearted people I've had the pleasure of getting to know. I guarantee you have lot more in common than the people in power would like you to believe.

This song is free to download on bandcamp. We've added a Linktree to our bio with local fundraisers for communities most affected by the blatant racism exhibited by ICE. If you have money to spare, please send it there.
