‘AVAIKI COLLECTION STILLS @pacificfusionfashionnz X @nzfashionwk 2026 🐚

Our collection this year portrays the ancestral land of our Cook Islands ancestors - ‘AVAIKI. From the kiriau, uru manu, rauara, kapu akari to the pata apuka, parau to the many different ‘ika - we were inspired by the richness of what our ancestors nurtured and provided for us to use today 🌺

Meet our Legacy Model – Vogue Ponini-Pilisi.

We first met Vogue in 2020, and she made an instant impact by winning Face of Fusions that same year. Since then, Vogue has represented PFFS six times, including three appearances at NZ Fashion Week. She exudes a strong, effortless presence on the runway, and is an inspiring leader and mentor to aspiring models off the runway.

Truly embodying her name – Vogue.

Please register via the link in our bio and make sure all measurements entered are as accurate as possible.

Models attending casting must be 18+. Waiting space on the day will be outside, so dress accordingly, and please stagger your arrival times where possible rather than arriving all at once. Female models are required to wear heels for casting.

Most importantly — bring your A-game. This anniversary year is going to be something special!

The vibrant Purple and Blue colour blend on pure white fabric base. Here are two different garment designs in the same colour way. Gotta love the Purple and Blue blend. A positive collaboration with these talented individuals.

The rocky journeys we have faced yet a Blessing to be on the Pacific fashion runway. We had 10 pieces in total to show and only had 5 models so we had to do quick change overs for each model’s second look but we managed even though the audio had to repeat. It was a good time and fun experience. Polynesian natural talent in Pacific Fashion. Throwbacks that are very motivating and a reminder. Don’t own rights to music in video.
