let’s give a standing ovation to @near_dark_shows who for the past five years have been lowering barriers to create welcoming, accessible, and unique opportunities to witness some of the harshest, weirdest, mellowist, and just straight the fuck up freak friendly bands and artists you’ll ever get to see in your lives. @grimeldatheband @franklin.theband @earsoundhole and @megafartmusicofficial bring the noise to celebrate these homies next saturday october 2, 2026

@bilalguitar and I had a beautiful time in B.C. on his West Coast leg of the Every Martyr is a Universe tour.

Thanks to all our west coast friends for coming to see us and our incredible hosts, namely @david_quieti who hosted us graciously in Vancouver, @ironnieg for touring us around East Hastings and introducing us to community members who are doing great things in that area, @simonf_guitar and @ntyyy for hosting us in Victoria and for showing us around some cool spots including this old railway and an abandoned mansion in the woods, and @voidpuppet & @102_i.o for showing us around their favourite spots in Vic.

So much gratitude for our people and a community that feels like it stretches so far and wide across our country. 🫶🏼

you know…the hustle and bustle and large crowd of good party is not for everyone and just because you prefer a more intimate and mellow social environment doesn’t mean you don’t deserve an evening of great tunes. luckily my friends at @near_dark_shows have cool ass show tonight @bayanihan.victoriabc for the mellow minded music fan. @elbow.kiss @faun.alyse @_meating and @bilalguitar will all be performing at this all ages music event happening at 7pm tonight. check it out!
