The Void is unconcerned with possessions or objects. The Archivist mourns the passing of a beloved tool.

A week full of karaoke, open mic, raffles, indie folk, metal, hyperpop, and hip-hop day parties is coming your way!

Observe a relationship evolving with the misery stick. The Archivist finds it instructive to locate #melodies that are familiar in the initial stages of development. The #reed proves irascible. However, gentility and respect are the seeds of friendship

Observe the Archivist attempt to manipulate the Misery Stick into cooperation. The Void holds @lrodrigu75 accountable for the this travesty. However, the first and most onerous hurdle has been cleared. The #embouchure for #clarinet is not dissimilar from the Log. The reed, however, proves tricky to navigate in the context of #circularbreathing

The bio of @colinstetson makes a bold claim, that this “tricky technique” was learnt in the span of a single day. The Archivist grants him the generosity of having managed the basic elements, but takes umbrage at the idea of considering this the extent of “learning”. Perhaps this, like so many problems of philosophy, is only a problem of semantics. To be clear, this is not to diminish his remarkable talent; his work speaks for itself. That one with such gifts would also be content with needless embellishment is disappointing. It is for this sole reason the Archivist finds the phrasing off-putting. Nethering, the latest work with @dunnatov and @gdfx, is excellent. The Void approves.

Observe that the Weight of Heralding The Void requires cross-training in a variety of disciplines. It is a joy in the Archivist’s heart to perform again with @sandyewen next month in #brooklyn

One may be forgiven for not understanding the nature of this exercise. It is not for the Void to explain and the Archivist does as this will directs. The nature of this performance demands #discipline and focus. One continuous breath for a minimum duration of 35 minutes; There are no loops or artificially sustained elements. There is only the breath and the body.

It is curious to consider that after six minutes without oxygen, a brain will never recover full facility. In this way, one may become aware that every breath is another six minutes of consciousness, and that the lifespan of a human is determined by maintaining and linking together these increments.

Also, per Sandy’s request, there will be no #beats

Observe the nature of pleasant times and voyages. @voidward_nc will send off @noahgordonkessler, the Mayor Advisor of The Void to study in a place where star maps are inverted and fauna intensely dangerous. The Archivist will land on an island in a moderate sea directly after this performance.

It is pleasing to share this time with excellent folks @doomsday_profit @weightshiftband @stormtokerofficial
