Hey, I am a music + video artist. I just make art from my life experiences.

🙏🏻 @volcaniadread

Well, the @gordonraphael events turned out to be AMAZING.

On Sunday we hosted Gordon‘s book launch, presenting "The World Is Going To Love This“. People from all over Europe came to celebrate Gordon‘s life and work. The special touch was that he reunited with a crew of German friends which includes legends like producer Moses Schneider and musician @nikkoweidemann. This German collective made a huge impact on Gordon‘s recording vision, indirectly leaving their sonic mark on @thestrokes iconic first two albums. It was magical to witness this reunion and learn how these creative forces combined to produce musical history.

On Monday Gordon taught his "Live band recording and mixing“ workshop. Gordon tracked and mixed a song by @pontepilasband explaining the technical and human aspects involved in a live band recording situation. Gordon records everyone playing in the same room without headphones, prioritizing the performance over source isolation. The result is a sonic representation of the band‘s energy and performance.

It was a blast seeing both events packed. Recording studios are like temples, spaces intended for musicians to get together and produce something of a higher order. We are fully committed to this idea in a time where isolation is the trend.

Thanks to Gordon ❤️ and to everyone involved! Stay tuned for more audio events at Tricone!
