Party.Sans! Trying to put a single genre label on Dragged Into Sunlight is pretty much a lost cause. Black metal, death metal, sludge, doom and a serious amount of noise collide in a sound that is as crushing as it is uncompromising. With “Hatred for Mankind”, the British band released an album back in 2009 that still sounds like one giant musical abyss today - and in 2027, they will perform it for us from start to finish, for the last time in a long time. PARTY.SAN 2027 — FIRST BANDS ANNOUNCED! 🩸🔥

The first names for @partysanmetalopenair 2027 have been revealed, and the German extreme metal festival is already looking absolutely vicious.

Taking place from August 5–7, 2027, at the Flugplatz Obermehler in Schlotheim, Thuringia, Party.San will once again bring together some of the most uncompromising names in black, death and extreme metal.

The first confirmed acts are @nile_official @vader_band_official @primordial_official @taakeofficial @official_desertedfear @bloodfiredeathtribute @volcanicbirth @grimmingband @infernal_presence @mglaofficial @non_est_deus @oxygendestroyer @sethblackmetal @svarttjernofficial @victimweimar666 and @winterfyllethband 🔥

But Party.San 2027 isn't simply bringing a strong collection of extreme metal bands. Several of the confirmed acts will perform special anniversary or exclusive sets. Primordial will perform The Gathering Wilderness in full, while Vader will celebrate the 35th anniversary of The Ultimate Incantation. Deserted Fear will mark 15 years of My Empire with an exclusive festival show, while Svarttjern will perform Misanthropic Path of Madness as an exclusive German festival appearance.

Meanwhile, Dragged Into Sunlight will perform Hatred for Mankind from start to finish, while Oxygen Destroyer will make their first appearance in Europe with a one-off show. Blood Fire Death will also pay tribute to the legacy of Quorthon and Bathory.

And this is only the beginning. 👀

With 16 acts already confirmed and many, many more still to come, Party.San 2027 is shaping up to be another essential date for fans of extreme metal in Europe.
