Feel the Surge. Live the night at the most electrifying Club in TREC KL

Last night was nothing short of a dream come true.

I’ve been dreaming of this moment for 8 years. 8 years of chasing something that, at times, felt impossible. 8 years of trying to find where I belonged, trying to find my purpose, and wondering if I’d ever make it. To finally stand behind those decks yesterday felt surreal.

The journey here wasn’t easy. I had to endure a lot of hate, humiliation, and insults from people who couldn’t see the potential in me. People who made me question whether I was ever meant for something greater. Those words slowly chipped away at my confidence and self-esteem, and for a long time, I carried those wounds with me.

At the same time, I was fighting battles no one could see. Living with a chronic illness meant constantly navigating exhaustion, pain, self-doubt, and days where I felt like I had nothing left to give. There were moments I wanted to quit, moments where I wondered if I’d ever be strong enough.

But there was one thing I never lost—grit. No matter how sad, angry, sick, or stressed I felt, I kept going. I never stopped believing that one day I’d get here. It took me eight long years, but I never gave up.

Because this isn’t just DJing to me. It isn’t just music, and it definitely isn’t just another gig. This is something much deeper. It’s one of the most spiritual experiences I’ve ever known. When I’m behind the decks, I feel connected to something so much bigger than myself. I don’t care if there’s one person in the crowd or ten thousand. Every opportunity means everything to me because this isn’t just my passion—it’s my calling.

If anyone noticed yesterday, I was wearing two watches. One was mine, and the other was my dad’s old watch. For those who don’t know, I lost my dad 22 years ago. Before I went on, I asked him to be there with me. I asked him to guide me, help me find my flow state, and carry me into a place where nothing else existed except the music.

His watch is usually heavy. But yesterday, it felt weightless. Somehow, so did I. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so free, so present, or so alive. It was one of the most beautiful feelings I’ve ever experienced.
