Opening our very first MB&F Lounge in New York 🇺🇸

Located on the fifth floor of the historic Fuller Building at 595 Madison Avenue, the Lounge isn’t a traditional boutique. It’s a place designed for collectors, enthusiasts and Friends to discover our creations in a relaxed, intimate setting surrounded by mechanical art.

Created together with our long-time partners @voltige_design, the space brings together a welcoming living room, presentation areas, private meeting spaces and an atmosphere that feels unmistakably MB&F.

Open Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm, by appointment.

We’re back! After a few months of refurbishment, we’re thrilled to reopen our doors again in the heart of Geneva 🇨🇭

A big thanks to our talented Friends at @voltige_design for another great project, highlighting the new architectural identity we’ve been developing for the past two years.

After the M.A.D.Gallery in Dubai, the MB&F LABs in Singapore, Paris, Taipei and Beverly Hills, it was about time to give some love to our own @mbfmadgallery in Geneva 😉

What do you think of the new #mbandf M.A.D. House?

The new MB&F HQ in Carouge, Switzerland, is one of the coolest #watchmaking ateliers I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. In the @esperluxe interview on #youtube (go check it out if you haven’t already), @maxbusser talks about how his team has expanded since he started #mbandfwatches , and how he moved his team of about 45 people to their new home in Sep 2022.

The house has so much old world charm and the fact that innovative MB&F #horologicalmachines are juxtaposed with fixtures >100 years old, adds to the allure of the place. #maxbusser has organized his team extremely well into departments such as Tech (watchmaking, ops), Sales, Marketing, Sourcing, etc. and given each of the teams specific areas of the building, while maximizing traffic flow and logistics. It’s a big house with many rooms, but at the same time it feels intimate and cohesive. Walking through the halls, I can tangibly feel what it means to be an #mbandftribe member.

Big thanks to @thibault.verdonckt and @cedric_watches for the kind tour, and for @christopher.daaboul for setting it up. I’ll be back!

As luxury watch retail stores begin focusing more on experiential luxury, @mbandf is redefining the architectural identity of its M.A.D. Galleries. The watchmaker has several galleries across the globe, in Geneva, Verdaine, Taipei, and Hong Kong, all of which will undergo aesthetic renovations between now and 2023. The interior design and architecture will be reimagined by @voltige_design . Some of the notable renovations and additions include a giant, ceramic lens art piece, domed sapphire crystal display cases throughout the space, updated furniture and lighting, and a digital screen. MB&F also reports that the company is developing a new hybrid retail presence – MB&F Labs –which showcases both MB&F machines and a limited number of art pieces.

Have you seen the new “architectural identity” for the @mbfmadgallery and @mbandf ?
It’s been a decade since we opened our first MB&F M.A.D.Gallery in Geneva - it was time for a change 😉!

What’s new?
1/ a giant lens that turns the world upside down;
2/ handcrafted domed glass display cases;
3/ custom-designed furniture;
4/ a discovery path;
5/ high-tech lighting and giant screen.

This project has involved a complete refurbishment of our largest @mbfmadgallery.ae, in Dubai Mall, but also smaller formats like the MB&F corner at PMT-The Hour Glass in Bangkok. We’ve also planned a new hybrid format dubbed “MB&F Lab” – designed for spaces not quite large enough to host a full-fledged M.A.D.Gallery– which will begin with Beverly Hills and Singapore in 2022.
