And here we are, where it all started (see my post from Thursday). This time step by step on our quest to hike @brucetrail_btc end-to-end. The hike, especially the first section was easy in part because it followed roads, but very muddy otherwise.

Beach time.
Due to some recent surgeries, we are unable to resume our hard-core hiking of the Bruce Trail. But that doesn't stop us from exploring the beauty around us.
Pinery Provincial Park is a 25.32 sq km (6330 acres) park situated on the shores of Huron Lake. It is the largest oak savanna in Ontario. A white-tail deer population control is implemented to preserve this habitat. Numerous red and white pines were planted in the early 1960s, because the value of the native savanna was not recognized. Juniper trees growing in the dunes are constantly shifting with the sand. Nothing boring here, perpetual amazement.
