Had an eventful weekend at the @Nike x Toma FIFA event! ⚽️🔥 One thing this weekend reminded me of: you don’t lose when you try. We all left the tournament as winners. 🏆 Congratulations to everyone who played—you all brought great energy and sportsmanship. Feeling inspired to keep living by the motto: Just Do It. ☺️ I also had the chance to meet some amazing people and work alongside such a talented team. Huge thank you to @Nike and @incastmarketing for this incredible opportunity. 🙏🏾❤️
I captured so much content from this event, so stay tuned—there’s plenty more coming from photographer Jolie’s POV! 📸😁

One of my long-term clients, @bee.and.kin has made the hard decision to close their business, and I’m feeling all the bittersweet emotions. We’ve been collaborators since 2019!! What a journey it’s been!

My friend @shesyoume introduced me to @bee.and.kin to photograph their launch party, and from there, a beautiful relationship was born. Through the pandemic, I was even featured on their blog (peep that young photo of Wini 😄). Back then, I was shooting PDP images in my living room while still learning studio lighting.

Years later, they trusted me with a full photo and video shoot of their iconic Icon Backpack. This shoot is when I first learned to direct video. Swipe to see! What a full-circle, growth-filled ride.

And on a personal note: I still own and carry my first Bee&Kin backpack. It’s traveled the world with me and holds up to this day.

Thank you, @tracey.dimitriou, for your trust, your friendship, and for being such a meaningful part of my creative journey. Wishing you nothing but wonderful things in your next chapter. 🤍

Thank you to all the collaborators.
I’m sad I never posted these. It’s never too late.

A quiet moment together, just the two of them, letting the day slow down for a second. The light, the stillness, the feeling of finally being side by side as husband and wife.

We love hearing how much you’re getting out of the Expo! 💬

This testimonial comes from Tavon Hanner, an actor & designer based in NJ, who found connection, insight, and community at WeAudition: Actors Pro Expo Virtual 2025.

Thanks for the kind words, @vonn_y — we’re so glad you’re part of the community!

Post 3/3 So one day Marlon calls, laughing a bit as he begins to tell me about two projects he sees me in that he is directing: A COMEDY SPECIAL, and a full length film. The answer was YES without hesitation! WHY?

Having worked with Marlon before, I knew he was an unquestionable professional, safe, supportive, and ready to show me some love from the crowd if I needed; and, I trust him.

Knowing Maurice Waters, the “Silent Assassin of Cinematography, Sound, and Good Vibez” would be doing Maurice things ready to drop words of wisdom and perspective; and, reflecting on our 2024 film festival win for our work together in “Peerless” directed by Marlon Wallace - amplified my confidence.

***When the time came at VegRehoboth 2025 and I was to be the opening act for the Headliner: ”The Prostate Cancer Guy”***

I saw Greg and Jenna in the crowd who just like… came to see when they didn’t have to type shit… they wasn’t working, the film wrapped.. - like, they wanted too - this warmed my heart as we had just met this weekend - this increased my vibration!

But what was the icing on the cake?? Having Wifey in the crowd awaiting the jokes I made about her/us that I didn‘t tell her about!!! With her there, I had home, I had my center, I had my person - I felt completely unstoppable.

I had everyone I needed because I had me, but, I had everyone I wanted present in that moment and the feeling was overflowing and powerful, the energy was hard to contain.

When the curtain was about to be pulled, my adrenaline could have fueled a power plant and my focus was so sharp I could’ve rediscovered Michael Jackson’s darker complexion.

Like theatre, the LIVE crowd being right there is SOOO amazing, Marlon - you started something….. THANK YOU!

-SPECIAL THANKS TO-

Chef CJ Harper of @PickleJuiceNYC (INSTA) - THIS DUDE CHEFFED UP SOME FIRE!!!!!!! - Gets my FULL SUPPORT.

Laced Bakes (Brooklyn, NY) - THIS PLACE!!!!! SO MANY OPTIONS!!!! BLACK WOMAN OWNED CANNABakery

24K Cannabis Company @24K.nyc (INSTA) - What hit me first, was the fruity delicious smell…. The taste was full and delivered on the scents promise, the smoke smooth, and the high - AS FUK.
