It’s been a year since we launched our sister Lief Entertainment Company with the belief that Auteur brands are partners in story rather than just on screen. TRUE WIND is now out in the world, a documentary series with Canada Goose as our first true entertainment partner.

@truewindofficial follows Ewan McGregor and his childhood friend Eric Strickland on an unsupported transatlantic sail in their restored 40-year-old boat. They set off at the end of August and are somewhere on the Atlantic right now. Directed by David Alexanian (Long Way), produced by Elixir Films and Lief Entertainment Company.

The “Bon Vivant” Video Story by Jenny:

A few years ago, our friend, the award-winning film-maker, Anthony Von Seck came to audit a
Songwriting Camp we were running at our home in Elphin, Ontario. My husband Joey Wright
and I have lived here in the Lanark Highlands for 23 years. We both grew up in downtown
Toronto, and then landed in a couple of bands together there in the 90s. We raised our two kids
here in the countryside, and we have run our Old School Camps here for the last 6 years, too.
The workshop featured two master classes: interviews with me interspersed with questions
from campers and performances by the featured songwriter. This iteration of Songwriting Camp
starred Amy Millan of Amy Millan, Stars and Broken Social Scene, and Paul Langlois of the
Tragically Hip.
Musician and friend Julian Brown had also come up from Belleville to hang out and help out…
