missing the rink today, need to find my way back. this was my first real successful attempt at shooting on my skates. Cardi has a crazy flow, it was fun to keep up with her pace this day💕

THANK YOU to everyone who came, bought a photobook copy and/or took time to view the exhibition. thank u to @home44.studio for having me and my work in your space. the black women and women in phx make this place feel like home to me, and I hope the way I’ve reflected us through my images makes our realities and dreams feel more visible. forever enamored by our beauty and the ways our creativity crosses paths. ive always wanted this body of images to be held, felt and shared, so thank u for makin my dreams come true and embracing them so warmly already💋

you can buy the photobook to be shipped to your door foreva and eva on my website at anitahimani.com/SHOP. more copies coming to some valley locations near you soon❣️

✨✨ Story Time: Full Circle Moment ✨✨

Over three years ago, @sk8bloomer and I fell in love with ballroom-style skating🛼. We wanted to learn the flow, the connection, and the rhythm so badly, but no one was teaching it at the rinks here in Phoenix. 😫

After years of watching videos, practicing, and breaking it down for ourselves, Roll N Glide was formed in November 2025 to build the community we wanted to see here in Arizona. To create a safe space with no pressure, no judgment, just good vibes and smooth glides, centered around partner skating was the goal! 🥹

Building the community and laying the ground work outside paved the way to officially bring the community and style into the rink, last week on May 19, 2026. 😄That was a literal full-circle moment. 🔁

Seeing an entire floor of people learning this beautiful style *inside* the rink is everything. Thank you🫵🏾to everyone who made our first indoor night unforgettable. 🙏🏾🙏🏾Thank you to everyone who showed up and trusted us to guide you! The vision is alive. 🤎🛼

Special shout-out to @jmelee, @skatelandchandler, @marcus_keyshotz, @rollerskatestories, @sk8bloomer, @cosmiccami19 for helping pull this night off! This would not have happened without each and every one of you!🫵🏾🙏🏾

Another thanks to every person that has been supporting consistently since November! 🫂Just a few names, but I can't name them all! @chef_the_creator_ @kayafromhawaii @voodooodust @hi.millyhere @lylahk_ @lexx.ii04 @thee__evangelist

**Next Session:** June 16th. Come roll with us!

Haiiiiii GUYS!!!✨
I’m Noelya!! Im first gen Mexican American🌟
I initially pursued roller skating during the pandemic, as time went by the hobby would come and go due to life’s ups and downs. Sometime around January of last year I decided to commit to aggressive park skating, I found something that made me uncomfortable yet confident❤️‍🔥 I found so much community sososo fast within rollerskating as a whole soon after I started to put that WERK in. What completely changed the game for me was my employment with Zoni Girls. They hired me on as a “hype skater, my confidence and love for the sport skyrocketed!! I am extremely grateful for everything that rollerskating has gifted me. LETS SKATE TOGETHER!!!💫
This is my first of many posts!! A schedule for the rest of this month and the month of may will drop asap!!
Eventually there’ll be afternoon street runs downtown so that we can take over the streets too!!💫✨
