POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’m light and free when I am with my community! (Oops that’s the poet in me rhyming like that🤣)

In all seriousness this morning was beautiful! We saw so many come out early this morning to support the Sarah Stevenson Tuesday Morning Forum. Our organization @ngaap_charlotte presented 3 panels of members who defined our organization from the Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow perspective.

The presentation and Q&A that followed opened up robust discussions surrounding our giving circle and how reshaping the spirit of philanthropy as something accessible to all including our Black communities was impactful.

I left both proud, to be a member of NGAAP, more educated about our direction & leadership, and inspired about the future of philanthropy and those who expressed an interest in joining our organization!

It was a great day🧡

The African proverb says, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

Together with the @cltgov city leaders, #d9 brothers and sisters, and community activators, we are determined to continue to bring about necessary change across Charlotte and this nation.

Our Founder Greg H. Jackson (@greghjackson704 ) had the opportunity to speak as a panelist at @dstcltalumnae 2024 Delta Days in the City, a social action summit meant educate and electrify our community. He spoke alongside brothers who are doing their part across the city, discussing what activism looks like in the modern day, how to change narrative and bridge gaps to unify and execute.

I thoroughly enjoyed being apart of the @2023hbculabordayclassic Battle of the Bands and speaking on the field! The whole weekend was filled with events that need to be repeated year after year, and supported by local government and our community!

I want to give big props to Mr. Al Davis (@yklplatinum), founder and proprietor of this event; Ms. Serenity (@realmakid) for her professional handling, networking & organization of this event, and their WHOLE team behind them! The community loved the HBCU exposure and family fun.
