Last year, OutVote Fellow Jonny Kandell wanted to create something unique, engaging, and informative for his community ahead of local elections. In collaboration with over 100 local drag queens and activists, Jonny created the Voting With Pride Guide to encourage New Jerseyans to register and vote in the 2025 cycle.

This zine is one example of how our Fellowship Program supports LGBTQ+ youth leaders, and we can’t wait to see the projects our 2026 Fellows come up with!

New Jersey, the primary election is in TWO WEEKS. 🇺🇸

This is the election where too many people stay home… but these congressional seats decide the future of our state and impact the entire country. Your voice matters NOW more than ever.

We need real representation. We need authenticity. We need leaders who actually understand working people, small businesses, students, seniors, and everyday families.

If you live in New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District, I’m asking for your vote. I’m Kyle Little, and I’m ready to bring bold, authentic leadership to Congress. ✊🏾

June 2nd. Show up. Vote. Be part of history.

I used my voice today. 🇺🇸
🔹
Elections aren’t just about choosing leaders;
they’re about choosing our future.
Every vote is a statement.
Every ballot is a step forward.
🔹
Proud to say: I voted.
I hope everyone took his/her/their opportunity to show up, be heard, and shape what comes next.

Voting is one of the most powerful ways we can show up — not just for ourselves, but for each other. Thank you to everyone who helped create such a fun, creative guide to inspire and encourage folks to register and vote! 🌈🗳️
