This is a first — and hopefully the start of many more.

When I started People of Surfing, my intention was simple: put a light on the incredible people I’ve met and connected with on our trips. We’ve travelled to New Zealand, then Brazil, and now West Africa.

On this last trip, I realised there was more we could do than just give people a place to tell their story. These surfers are like us — they love the ocean, they’re passionate about surfing — but they have so little access to the gear they need to pursue that passion.

So this is a first. If you watched our latest chapter of People of Surfing in West Africa, I hope you’ll consider donating — no amount is too small — to support the beautiful people you saw in the film.

Every dollar raised (minus GoFundMe’s standard processing fee) goes directly to Ekol Senegal, Surf Kids Shredding, and Victor’s surf school — funding swimming lessons for the village community, surf lessons for local kids, and the boards, wetsuits, and gear they need to keep growing.
