“Playing life on easy mode.”

I have alway wanted to accomplish big things.

And although I have to some small extent.

Even in my late thirties would find myself being lazy.

Reflecting on Milo coming into my life, I’ve had an astonishing realization.

I was lazy because I could.

Never married. No kids. Made good money.

I was playing life on easy mode and didn’t care.

There really was no NEED to work harder.

Now I have recently turned 3 year old who lives in my house and I’ve never been more productive in my whole life.

Because I have to.

I don’t agree that kids keep you from doing things.

I put him to bed, change the diapers, drive him to preschool and spend nights in our underwear having dance parties.

And I produce double, triple what I used to at work.

Bc now it’s not about me. It’s about him.

Milo has changed my outlook on why I play the game.

I used to play the game so I could have cool toys and do hood rat things with my friends.

Now I do it so he can have shiny toys and do hood rats things with his friends.

It’s way harder. I agree. But video games are way more fun on hard mode for a reason.

It’s the challenge.
