As if our Paris trip couldn’t get any better, our wonderful friend and old colleague Lucas joined us for a day 🫶🏽 Although he moved to Paris a few years ago, @vp_versatilep has kept in touch with us. We have many fond memories with him, including Lunch Clubs @dadshouseuk 🫂 He’s now even a regular donor through our Memory Makers monthly giving programme 🥹 Lucas spent a whole day with our children at Disneyland Paris, and brought with him that infectious energy and bright smile we missed so much 🥰 He also brought many boxes of fresh strawberries from the local market for our children to enjoy 🍓 Thank you Lucas, and we can’t wait to see you again! • • #paris #disneylandparis #strawberryseason #parismarket #paristrip

Cool Story, Bro ☂️ Just a room full of people sharing their stuff. The awkward stories, the chaotic ones, the soft ones… Thank you for showing up, for listening, for laughing at the right (and wrong) moments. It felt easy. It felt real. Glad we get to do this with you. See you under the umbrella on our next event FEBRUARY 27! @auchatnoir75011 . . . . #openmicnight #expat #paris #expatlife

Solidarity Sports launched in 2007 🩵 It was just a small idea back then. A way for a few children to get active, have fun, and make friends 🫂 But it soon became more than just an after-school club: it became a family 🥰 Over the years, we have built a community of staff and volunteers which gives it’s undivided attention and care to each of our children. Through sports, healthy eating, arts and crafts, dance, theatre, mentorships, trips abroad and more, we guide our children through difficult life circumstances 💛 Our journey started with an after-school club, but it has become an ongoing story of positive impact on countless children’s lives 🌞 • • #trhowback #healthylifestyle #makingchanges #makingmemories #makingdifferences #westlondoncharity #childrencharity #everychilddeserveshappiness🩵

Yesterday, we returned from a magical trip to Paris ✨ It was an amazing holiday for our children. From spending the day @disneylandparis to seeing all the animals @zoodeparis, 15 children enjoyed 5 days in the City of Love 🌆 On our way back to London on the @eurostar, we asked our children what their highlights were from the trip 🌟 “The fireworks at Disneyland was my favourite because it was so realistic and it was showing different characters from Disney movies.” “I liked eating together, because it gave me a sense of community . I also enjoyed sharing a room with other people.” “Going on the scary rides in Disneyland was my highlight. It’s normally something would have never gone on. But all my friends encouraged me!” “I loved going on the river cruise. It was my first time on a boat and it was so beautiful.” Thank you everybody for coming along with us on this beautiful trip 💝 • • #paristrip #disneylandparis #zoodeparis #parisphoto #visitparis #visitparisregion

6 months ago, we had our 7th trip to @disneylandparis as part of the Hashim Family Legacy 💚 Launched in 2017, the project honours three Solidarity children and their parents, all of whom died tragically in the catastrophic Grenfell Tower fire. Firdaws Hashim, who was 12 when she passed away, always dreamed of going to Disneyland but never got the chance. We continue to honour her legacy by taking 20 children to Paris every year 🫂 #89months 💚 Forever in our hearts • • #grenfell #grenfelltower #grenfelltowerfire #foreverinourhearts #justiceforgrenfell #justice4grenfell #disneylandparis #disney
