I think we’re gonna need a bigger bay in 2027… The final REPS match for 2026 is finished and I can’t be more proud of how far we’ve come in only 3 matches! I first had the idea to start hosting matches at FRPC almost exactly 1 year ago on October 20th 2025. But REPS didn’t become a thing until @beardynamics_mn, @joshparr17, and I were enjoying a beer after shooting a match a month later. Carson had proposed the perfect acronym and name. The next several months were spent gathering all the pieces for us to bring a new offering to the shooters south of the metro. Figuring it out along the way had its struggles. We are in no way experts and have a lot to work on. Still, we were able to put it all together and host an event that has garnered overwhelming support from shooters across all of MN (and some from South Dakota). The people we’ve met in the last 4 months have been amazing to get to know and seeing new shooters be welcomed into the community has been very rewarding to say the least. How naturally all this happened speaks to the community-first mindset that has been established. There’s so much more to say and even more people to thank. But I’ll leave it at this… Thank you all for allowing REPS to be a part of your community. Here’s to 2027 and the stages to come. - Trevor and the REPS team #beepchaser #2a #shootingsports #firearms #minnesota

We had an incredible year for our Surveyor matches! Grateful for every competitor that came out, tested themselves, and helped create the culture that we call “The New Midwest” Traveling from all over the Midwest and far reaching to California, our competitors came from all over this beautiful country. Our Founder Arms Field Team is second to none in work ethic, care for the details, and endless heckling on Friday setups and team dinners. Huge shoutout to our sponsors for believing in what we are doing here in the Midwest and helping us grow this community! Give them a follow! @trexarms @vpframeworx @vortexoptics We are already planning for next year as we push the limits of what a match can be. Game Day for Americans. Welcome to the New Midwest.

Yet another quick month! September was here and gone in the blink of an eye! As Fall officially begins, we all found ourselves busy with life and its seemingly never ending cycle of projects and responsibilities 😬 Still, September was a great month looking back with the success of our collaboration and giveaway with @pioneer_point_sewing, our DM32UV radio reference cards, helping out with another fantastic match at @therepsmatch, garden harvests, various life projects, two group Bible Study sessions, October FTX planning, fall colors of course, and much more! September also kicked off a series of short and long term community projects we’re super excited for and hope to share in future when completed! 🌲⚒️✴️ Do you share many of the same values and goals as we do? Consider joining or working with us and being part of a growing Minnesota and Upper Midwest community! Message us here or drop us an email at nspg2024@proton.me Tags: #community #preparedness #recap

Last Saturday I competed in my first 2Gun competition with REPS at the Faribault Gun Range. I was extremely nervous walking into the competition with no 2-gun experience. I didn’t know what to expect or how to prepare for my path of travel. Thankfully everyone was super awesome, all the participants in Squad 2 and the ROs walked me through on how on to take on the courses. I walked into this competition with the goal to now DQ as from what I’ve heard with new shooters it’s pretty easy to do. Stage 1 I was nervous but thanks to Austin at @vpframeworx he helped calmed my nerves and I felt like I did well. Stages 2&3 I didn’t do so well as I timed out with some technical difficulties with my gear. Stage 4 I was determined to kill it but with my frustration I said not so good of words as I ran out of ammo. My take aways from the day were •reminded myself I did good with being new shooter and not being hard on myself as I wanted to be good at anything that I do. •invest in a better battle belt •plan your every step to save time. •get a double stacked 9mm pistol •keep practicing and learning Something’s I was proud of was pistol reloads I felt went really smooth, being able to remain calm in the moment of course and having fun for a first time shooter and not being hard on myself. Overall I had a ton of fun and I will be doing more competition shooting with REPS! I want to thank again all the awesome people that participated that helped me and taught me so much, I want to thank Austin at @vpframeworx and the other ROs that were so understanding and let me move down on the list to watch the other participants before I felt ready to go, thank you to @joshparr17 for inviting me out to come give it a try and also for let me practice with him earlier in the year and lastly I want to thank Trevor at @therepsmatch for putting on an awesome match and also walking me through the process at check in, I had a blast and I’ll be back better than before.
