Crisp fall air outside, a little flannel inside, a few winning hands, lots of laughter, and another Friday morning playing American Mahjong right here in Raleigh! 🍂

But here’s what I loved most about today’s Mahjong in Flannel:

Looking around the tables this morning, I realized that I’ve had the joy of teaching almost every woman there how to play mahjong. And today, we welcomed a new friend who recently moved to Raleigh and joined us for the first time!

This. This is why I started Holland House.

Of course, we love the game and pretty mats and tiles. But watching women learn something new, grow in confidence, make friends, and find their place around a table? That’s the really good stuff.

Whether you’re looking for American Mahjong lessons in Raleigh, already know how to play and want to join us for open play, or simply want to meet some new friends, we’d love to welcome you to Holland House.

There’s always (ALWAYS!) room for one more here with us. 🌷

Our go to spot in Raleigh for pizza & all things truly Italian 🍕🙌🏼➡️

#raleighpizza #raleigheats #raleigh #trianglefood #raleigh

Passes the crunch, stability, and cheese pull test with flying colors 🙌🏼 & we took more than one bite #norules

We got the V Signature + Mac Attack pizzas & the Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto Sammy & the bread was just as good as the crust !!

Honestly some of the best meatballs I’ve ever had …… no notes. Would eat 19.

@flaskcocktailbar is connected to V Pizza in Brier Creek & has a bunch of spoOoOoky drinks right now - all slapped 🍹🍸👻

I used to eat cannoli cream straight up during my shifts at a pizza place in high school so sharing these was a chore for me😒

Be sure to check out all their locations in NC! They also do pizza making classes 👀

All of us after that meal 😅🫪

There’s a little chill in the air, and we can’t think of a better reason to cozy up around the mahjong table. 🍂🧡

Pull on your favorite flannel and join us for a Friday morning of friendly competition, plenty of laughter, and good company. When the tiles are put away, we’ll all enjoy lunch together. If you’ve had V Pizza’s wood- fired pizza and wings, you know why we LOVE our Friday spot! If you haven’t, you’re in for such a treat!

It’s our favorite kind of fall morning. A little plaid, a few good hands, and nowhere we’d rather be.
