What an incredible experience as a business owner. Being able to learn from other successful women and discover how to balance health, fitness, and spiritual life all in one powerful space. 💫
Joy rooted in resilience, that’s what this journey was all about. Grateful to have stood among visionary leaders at the 2025 Martha’s Vineyard African American C-Suite Summit, a gathering that reminded us strength isn’t just about title but about thriving together, reclaiming our power, and showing up whole.
Here’s to rising, rooting, and radiating. 🌿
You can read more about the summit in Ebony and Forbes:

✨I never leave the movement…the movement always comes with me. ☝🏾

✨So I was excited to have a group of women with me along my wellness journey this weekend. The @mvaaff C-Suite Summit included Afro Soca workouts for all of us provided by @espn and guess who was the instructor… @gymhooky . We’ve been following each other for years and we end up meeting all the way in Colorado, chile! Was so excited to catch up with her in person…and move with everyone. Of course I got in some strength training on my own too. But dancing with these ladies was truly the icing and cherry on top of a great weekend! #csuitesummit #wellnesslife

My heart overfloweth.

I had the honor of partnering with @espn to lead Afrosoca workouts sessions for @mvaaff ‘s first annual C-Suite Women’s Summit in Colorado.

Let’s just say…

God has a great way of reminding me that I’m exactly where I need to be.

Betting on yourself —> 10/10 recommend.
Being your authentic self —> 10/10 recommend.

P.S. A HUGE thank you to my incredible partners at ESPN @soykatifernandez and @delgado__maria . WE DID THAT!

Denver Colorado 🧳

Traveling to different places used to be something I love to do. And like many people a couple years ago I kind of lost that feeling. But it was great to get back out again and travel somewhere different and visit really good friends that I hadn't seen in some time.

When I mentioned to some people I was heading to denver, I got different comments and different things. Some were cautionary tales and others were make sure you do this.

Did my best to go with an open mind as I usually do. And I'm sure it had lots to do with the people I was with. But I really enjoyed hanging out in Denver.

So here are the 3 things I learned about Denver Colorado.

1) Mountain time: 2 hours behind Eastern Time. The time difference isn't that great. As a result you can almost feel like nothing has changed. But don't let it fool you. It's still adjusts your circadian rhythm. Making you stay up a bit later or sleep in later. So I took the first day off of Strenuous exercise to adjust to the time change.

2) 1 Mile above Sea Level: coupled with the time change they are quite a bit higher above sea level. This can cause people to feel dizzy lightheaded and out of breath. Some may even feel tired and lethargic. But it was cool to see these interesting oxygen containers they were selling that people could use to boost up their oxygen and feel better.

3) Amazing scenery and nature: yeah I have to admit that only was The nightlife pretty good, a lot of interesting places to go outdoors. Which made it a lot of fun to spend with friends. I also met a lot of great people there.

Definitely enjoyed my trip to denver. It's some place that should be on your list to go and take a peek.

Ever been to Denver?
