Like Yin and Yang the works pictured contrast, yet also coordinate and work well together. Light & dark, hard & soft, etc. The chunky belt choker can also be worn as a scarf or top. The yarn is hand made and consists of over 50 different fabric remnants. 🧵 Ethically made by @rosiemae27, founder & creative director of Rosina~Mae.

Pictured are on the runway are some new works alongside older pieces from my archive - :) Two of my works were also displayed on the wall thx to @climatefutures.art. To see more textile arts and swim separates like these, check out my current work in an exhibit at @climateimaginarium. I love to show how you can mix and match each collection. “From the beach, to the street, to the party” 🩵♻️🪡

BOUNCE

Direct flash is a lot of fun, but sometimes you gotta take a softer approach. Crank your flash unit up and let the ceiling or the wall do the lighting for you. Cheaper than a softbox 🤷‍♂️

While you’re laying in the Park Ave Armory latest exhibition, clinamen, you aren’t just seeing the exhibit…you hear it, feeling the vibrations of the bowls hitting each other creating a low hum reverberating throughout the space. The feeling shot up through me almost putting me in a complete calm. Anyway my pictures don’t do it justice, but pleased to announce my new Leica M7 works, and that I’m hoping that I can create something that isn’t just a snapshot but capturing a feeling. A vibe if you will

MONOCHROME

Saying this feels silly considering how much of my work is in black and white these days, but for the longest time I had no interest in doing black and white photography. I liked other people’s b&w work, but I saw it as kind of a crutch for my own—something that gave a photo depth and presence without actually building it. I thought if I couldn’t make it work in color, it just wasn’t a good photo in the first place.

But photography is all about directing attention. Forgoing color is just one of many ways to do it.

AMBIENT

Didn’t bring any lights? Don’t need ‘em. Ambient light and a steady hand is all it takes. (Or IBIS 😅)
