Introducing the fifth release from Valencia based label Aloque. This time, we welcome @smeagal.pilly, a very talented artist who has always believed in releasing music with us. Ash has been a strong supporter of Aloque for a long time, and we are very happy to finally have his music as part of our catalogue. A new name in the Aloque family, but a familiar energy.

Pre-order now live on Bandcamp, link in bio!

@butter_side_up Celebrates 15 years with this special two disc compilation. Stacked with faces and friends of the label both old and new, head honchos @hamish__cole and Hugh Bailey have curated eight tracks of smooth and sexy house goodness. On the project, artists like Ron Obvious and Jack D fly the flag for the UK. Obvious’ track ‘Untitled (Too Wicked mix)’ is doused in soulful licks, soulful vocals and a soulful bounce. Gramaphone’s @itsgarrettd makes his return to the label with ‘What Would Life Be’, a playful and jovial number with a distant voice chanting the track’s title throughout, making it all the more infectious. Flying back to Europe, the likes of DJ Pipe and Vsan are in the driver’s seat, with Berlin-based DJ Pipe’s tune ‘Thrills on Pills’ encompassing the mood of an early morning sunset and pressing it on wax. Comment “Butter” and we’ll DM you the product link!

Record of the Week 💿

VSAN - Vitet
Bass Culture V.A. #1 | Bass Culture Records

Minimal yet full of groove. Doesn’t need a huge drop or loads of tricks, it just keeps rolling from start to finish. Proper unique sounding track.

Big fan of what VSAN’s doing, and getting a release on Bass Culture says it all 👏🏽

🎂 MUSH 4 YEARS : LINE-UP (PART 1) 🪩
