26 through my eyes

the weekend before my birthday driving home from work after a few rain showers through the day in stop and go traffic, the woman infront of me slammed on her brakes. when i hit mine, the car slid right under her.

i had just come back from driving 18 hours to chicago/wisconsin for final bout, and had been driving the sc harder than ever the entire month of september and it took it all like a champ. then the weekend before my birthday, a <15mph crash took her outta commission. was scared of what that would mean for the age of 26 for me.

went on a first date with a pretty cool girl i briefly met at a house warming party

drove some dudes slow ass orange m4 convertible (shi trash)

got into riding fixed gear bikes with my friends and fell in love with how much fun they can be and the communal aspect with other fixed gear riders. (plus who can say no to more time with friends)

went on another date with that girl

went SNOWBOARDING with that girl (and my friends)

closed out my time at Porsche, had an amazing time there and gave me some experiences of a lifetime but ultimately realized it was taking so much of my time and life, it started to become my life.
i either didn’t have time for life outside of work, or i would make time for friends and loved ones at the expense of my health and wellbeing n i couldn’t keep living like that.

took her to the nutcracker ballet for christmas (i think i like her)

picked up some new hobbies

went on one of our many new york adventures with my best friend to get a tattoo. (them not me i’m still indecisive)

had my closest friends over for a cookout and car day (we not letting val bring the mango chow ingredients next time)

fell in love

did a lot of really fun car stuff, something i’ve been craving for years as i’ve been kinda away from car enthusiast summers for a lil bit now.

grew a new love and appreciation for formula drift and took home some souvenirs (my tire is still at valentin’s crib, sorry val)

went to ny to see all my guys together for the first time in years (shak i’m sorry u got cut off idk why they took the pic horizontally)

bike mekanik day at my crib with my bestie

fell in love some more

i thought abt doing that multi caption thing but id rather summarize everything in one instead.

there’s been so many changes this year both good and bad, and so many hardships i can’t even explain it to yall in one post. through those tougher times ive found myself surrounded by such amazing people that ive been able to lean on, and as i approach the light at the end of this fuck ass tunnel, the walls are lined with my loved ones encouraging me forward.

even as i scroll thru these pictures and relive the moments it’s enough to get my eyes sweatin a lil. from bringing in new year’s eve with my best friend to enjoying new year’s day with my girl, to so many moments between then and now with my loved ones that resemble the moments i daydreamed of as a kid. this mid year point of the year feels a lot different than the ones in the past, way more intentional way more motivated and so fucking warm (literally n figuratively lol).

i haven’t felt like myself in YEARS as much i have the past few months, and i owe so many thanks to every single person in my life.

“LEWIS REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE! YOU DID IT, YOU WILL DO IT AGAIN”

i’ve been far from perfect this year, lapses in judgement at times and straying away from what makes me, me. but i remember who i am now.

boy 2025 was a year that existed that’s for sure lol.

feels like i lived at least 3 lives over the course of this year n i can’t say all of them were exactly stellar. definitely not a bad year by any means with a lot of really cool moments.

got to do a really dope shoot for che n chnl mag, went on a TON of side quests and adventures, me and my car friends helped make one single block of chinatown the spawn point for car enthusiasts all throughout the city to the point where people traveled from OUT OF STATE to see it, got to get into biking EVEN MORE than last year, drove my car 15 HOURS to chicago to see my online car friends from all over the country, and made alot of really cool connections and bonds over this year.

i’ll never get tired of saying it, but i love all yall so deeply and im so grateful to cross paths with anybody i have over the course of this year. it wasn’t the best year by far, but it was also far from the worst.

love yall, plz take care of urselves, n here’s to 2026 being everything we want it to be and so much more
