This Sunday! We are delighted to be collaborating with @triologymusic and @xeniaconcerts. Our performer feature today is amazing bassist @jodi_proznick. She is an incredible composer, bandleader, and educator. 🙂

New online course via the VSO School of Music!
'Keys to Unlocking the fretboard' with Itamar Erez 🎹
Can theory be fun?!
I met so many people who are scared of the word 'theory'.
I also remember hating it when I learned it as a child :-)
😟
One reason is, that if theory remains dry, only on 'paper' and not on the instrument, it is not as exciting and very easy to forget. But when you play it on the instrument, you understand the concept AND hear it, you learn it in a different way!!
✊😅
This 6-part virtual course introduces practical concepts, tips and tricks that will “unlock” your potential on any fretted stringed instrument, whether for improving technique, mastering new musical styles, or making up your own music. This class is experiential, so everything is taught ON the instrument.
🌸
Suitable for players with at least 1 year’s experience (either self-taught or formal lessons) with up to 6 participants.
When: 6 Mondays 6-7pm (PT) Jul 6 - Aug 17 $145

Pm for more details or go to https://vsoschoolofmusic.ca/program/online-keys-to-unlocking-the-fretboard/
