I’m sure you’ve heard it all before. And I hate to sound like a broken record but….

*When you spend $100 locally, more than $50 stays in your community. Chain stores leave less than $15 in your town.

*Local businesses are major source of employment creating stable jobs for your neighbors.

*More sales tax revenue stays local and can be used to strengthen public services and the town’s infrastructure.

*Shopping local reduces your carbon footprint.

*Small businesses are more likely to support local nonprofits.

*You get better and more expert service at a local small business.

And last but not least -
We really love seeing you!!! All of you!!!
It’s an honor and a privilege to live amongst you….

I get it. I really do. Amazon is easy. Shopping LOCAL requires a bit more effort.

But the benefits of shopping at small businesses are immeasurable.

When you shop locally, 67 cents of every dollar stays in your community. That amount includes providing jobs, donations to nonprofits, paying into the local tax base and utilizing other small area businesses.

When you buy from Amazon ZERO cents (as in NONE) stays in your town. Nada. Fact.

Obviously, it’s important to shop at a small businesses in your community all year round. But it’s especially important during the holiday shopping season.

Please consider keeping your money local and SHOP SMALL.

Drop the name of a small business in your community that you will shop with this holiday season👇👇👇

Artist Fair and Festival take 4!

We welcome the 4th year of our Artist Fair with open arms…

These Saturdays are always jammed packed with incredible energy and authentic individuals all gathering to enjoy the festivities and buy art, take in the music vibe, eat food and hang out
🪄🫶🏻☀️🪴🎨🍁♾️🍎🎶☕️☀️

We like to do a sneak peek each day to get everyone excited for these events and the artists.

Allow us to introduce our lovely friend and potter extraordinaire
Amanda Ann Palmer @amandaannpalmer
Amanda will be joining us on The 2nd Saturday 11/2…

About Amanda and her work:

“Play is essential. When I set to work in my studio and relax into imaginative play, the clay becomes a toy. I explore shapes that I hope will awaken curiosity and invite touch.
I am a sculptor working in clay. I use the potter’s wheel and other tools to create soft geometric forms. My pieces often recall rusty relics from my free-range childhood, along with silos and smokestacks prominent in memories of my hometown.
My Flower Factories are exaggerated horizontal forms that have smokestack-like pipes along the apex. The glaze reveals the machined quality left by the tool used to articulate the form. When you arrange flowers in it, the blossoms become the plumes of smoke.
Currently, I am stacking shapes into complex forms and exploring how they relate to one another when grouped. I imagine myself in a world made up of these whimsical shapes.”

Amanda Ann is a full-time artist working in clay. She grew up in the deep south, and in 2005 she graduated from Jacksonville State University in Alabama with a BFA concentrating in ceramics. These days she works from her small home studio on an Abenaki hillside in what is now called Vermont.
The best way to keep up to date is by following along on instagram.

✨Meet the artist ✨
Claire Keith and her business Elements Aligned
✨🪴✨🪴✨🪴✨🪴✨🪴✨

I began Elements Aligned in 2017, starting as a side project for some of my favorite hobbies; a home for my creative outlets and a way of being able to share them with my community.

My work has many different forms and I am constantly being inspired by my natural surroundings.

The elements come into play quite often, whether it is in a literal sense or a bit more symbolic.

Earth - providing stones for jewelry and plants for herbal craft.

Fire - lighting beeswax candles, medicine wands, and the desire within to create something new.

Water - nourishing the plants and finding its way into different medicinal formulas, bringing an ease and flow to the process.

Air - circulating through my art and in the breath that I cherish in my own personal movement practices.

And ether - a place above the clouds for dreaming, where so many of my creations are first imagined.

I am fortunate to pursue a path of deep purpose while finding the alignment amongst all of these elements to bring really intentional creations that reflect my passions and evolving curiosities. You can also find my work @elements_aligned_ or my website elementsaligned.love

🪄Julienne Leslie Jewelry🪄
@juliennelesliejewelry
I specialize in silver, copper and precious metal clay jewelry with semi precious and Czech beads-creating earrings, bracelets, necklaces, pins and mini baskets. This year I’m returning with more of my precious metal clay Bronze pieces, fired hand made work which blends beautifully with sterling!

I love making beautiful affordable jewelry, many pieces are One-of-a-Kind! I’m inspired by tribal jewelry all over the planet, cold joinery is my primary technique.

I’ve trained extensively with reknown artists Lynne Merchant and Celie Fago (on opposite ends of the US), who I’m proud to claim as dear friends and mentors!
