🎾 2026 TENNIS SEASON RECAP
What a season. 🏆
A lot of tennis, mostly close to home, some memorable results — and most importantly, a ton of fun along the way.
This year, my biggest competitive successes came on the doubles court:
🏆 Champion — A Doubles
Vancouver International Pride (GLTA) — with Lakhmeet
🥈 Finalist — A Doubles
Seattle Classic (GLTA) — with Tommy
🥉 Semi-Finalist — A Doubles
Wroclaw Winter Vibes (GLTA) — with Moritz @moritzschuermann
🎾 Quarter-Finalist — 4.0 Doubles
Burnaby Open (Tennis Canada) — with Jeffrey @captennisb1
Singles had its moments too:
• Quarter-Finalist (A) — Vancouver International Pride
• Quarter-Finalist (B) - Wroclaw Winter Vibes
• Round of 16 (4.0 R64) - Delta Open
• Round of 16 (4.0 R64) - Stanley Park Open
The singles results didn’t quite turn into the run I was looking for this season, but there were plenty of close matches and good stretches of tennis along the way.
The deep run is coming again. 👀🎾
One thing I did differently this year was being more intentional with my tournament schedule. I spaced out my Tennis Canada events throughout the season and occasionally entered only singles or doubles rather than both, unlike last year when I often played both draws. That gave me more time to recover between competitions and helped me enjoy a full season with minimal injuries and recovery time — something I definitely don’t take for granted.
And a big thank you to my regular hitting partners this year 🫶🏼 Thomas @tbryon4 , Ashley @ashley_the_performance_doc , & Chris @blueswimplanet , Simon @simon.shepi for all the rallies, matches, practices, laughs and hours on court throughout the season. ❤️🎾
The trophies and results are great, but the people, places and memories are what made the 2026 season such a fun one. Only 20 carousel spots, apologies to everyone I missed.
More tennis to come. 🎾
