Well that’s a wrap for my freshman softball season, I can’t help but reflect on how I’ve grown both as a player and a person just over these past couple months. Coming into the season, I was nervous and unsure of what to expect, but with each practice and game, I gained confidence and learned more than I ever imagined. I can’t help but thank the team & coaching staff enough for everything they’ve done for me & how much they’ve helped mentor me during this season. I’ve built strong bonds with my teammates and looked up to the upperclassmen who showed me what it means to be dedicated and passionate about the love for the game, & showed me there’s more to softball then just winning & losing. There were tough moments, mistakes, and lessons learned, but there were also incredible memories, big wins, and proud accomplishments. I’m so grateful for this first year, and I’m already excited to come back stronger next season. #leaveamark

softball has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. as I hang up my cleats I feel a mix of sadness and the upmost gratitude. from the first pitch to the last out I gave it everything I had. this chapter of my life is very special to me. I have found some of my best friends through this sport. friendships that I will hold onto and cherish for a lifetime. I thank God every day for allowing me to play for a program like vilonia softball. a program that does daily devotionals, allows me to share how God has moved in my life, and allows me to hear story after story of how faithful God is in my teammates and coaches lives as well. God is so powerful and he has moved through our program. my coaches also played a huge role in shaping not only the athlete I became, but the person I am today. their constant support, tough love, and belief in me pushed me to grow in ways I never imagined. softball has taught me discipline, resilience, teamwork, confidence, and many other lessons I will take far beyond the field. I want to thank my parents for supporting me throughout this long journey. for being there on the hard days and celebrating with me on the good days. for all of the time spent traveling for tournaments and all of the hours spent helping me work on my game. although this chapter is ending, the memories, values, and relationships I’ve built through this game will stay with me forever. I’m so blessed to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. #leaveamark #3out

MVMNT WKND!! @fbc.student
A weekend of surrender, movement, and making room for the Lord. I’m in absolute awe of the way the Lord worked in our lives this weekend. There’s no greater joy than to see those you’re closest to, change their lives for Christ. Thank you Lord for allowing us to depend on you time and time again. ❤️
