Been a minute since I posted anything. Yes I’m still alive. Yes I’m still playing. Here’s a clip from last night with @danielle_illario on the rooftop @tommystaverntap in Edison getting groovy on “Are you that somebody” by Aaliyah. Please excuse the egregious use of cymbal stack.

VIBES ARE SET. 🎶 There’s no better way to warm up a crowd for @femmecuratorsart and @brickcityjam than with a little live sax! Had an amazing time hosting and MC’ing for the @north2shore festival. This is what it’s all about: community, art, and the power of music. Shoutout to every incredible artist and everyone who brought that energy! 🔥 #ExecutiveMusicDirector #LiveMusic #Saxophone

I’ve been unavailable if it isn’t about business,

Yes, I have been ducked off
Doing my own thing; WORKING!
I believe everyone should be doing the same or something that means something to themselves and the world.

🦖Shout to the many zooms, production teams,
cohorts, Professional leaders meetings, mentoring,
and more I’ve had in the last 6th months that have rewarded me with “…doing my own thang”.

Those meetings with @newarksymphonyhall and team, planning our first ever fundraiser for the @newarklgbtqadvisorycommission , building with @mymillennialbestie and taking risks like no other,
Painting benches at @citybloom87 with the Commission and Commissioner Santos, producing with @jadesartcorner and @brickcityjam for the #EarthtonesOnTheRoof event with @downintheroseriesnwknj for #North2Shore to hosting #WordsOnTheWater open mic at @newarkriverfront with @newarkcityparks backed by @vtxstudios and @jamarmuzik all while Uncle Win @justthewinner looked after Nephew Taj while I worked and so much more!

❤️I’m extremely blessed to be able to walk ANYWHERE in any room and show MYSELF what I can do! Many of nights my love seat held me down, made space for my ideas and helped cultivate them into unforgettable experiences.

🫶🏽Super grateful and filled with gratitude for the people who’ve trusted my vision, as well as bring my vision to life. Yall really have me out here knowing what my purpose is and that I’m not alone. There’s no guessing at this rate if the game.

This isn’t fame, more like legacy.

🙏🏽Tailored mens suit (blazer and shorts) @ancientafricanformula
🙏🏽Earrings, bangles and rings @mrembonyc
🙏🏽Green Dress @sourceofknowledge

I’m blessed. I truly appreciate anyone and everyone who has helped me get here! It feels good to live in purpose. ✌️

P.s. @msjanehandcock speaks to my souls on this track

“No Mind” – Mushin 無心
(“Mind without mind”) — the groove before the groove.

“Live In The Analog Skies”⌛️

Not about forgetting.
Not about erasing.
But about letting go.

In music, as in life — when you’re no longer trying, you’re just being.
