Vukari - Aevum - One of my discoveries of the year, albeit one that hasn't released any material in five years, Chicago's finest run a consistent line in delicately shaded atmoblack. The heavy is heavy, the melody is sparingly deployed, and the suffocation relentless. The back catalogue is all hugely worthy of note, but this is an absolute peach (with delightful artwork). After some dogshit service from Evri, and some incredible perseverance from @vendettarecs ,this finally made it onto my record player in an wispy red and clear combo. An album that never fails to impress, and is recommended without reservation. En to Pan vinyl still eludes my grubby mitts.

VUKARI "Aevum" LP finally repressed! For me a masterpiece of atmospheric black metal. It sold out about 6 years ago, so the band and I decided to give it a repress. The repress is pretty limited (100 copies only) and comes with ultra clear and red marbled vinyl, wich turned out a bit pinkish. Get your copy here: vendetta-records.bandcamp.com/album/aevum On Thursday I will start the preorder for the Angest album, a new band formed by members of Deฬtresse, Enthroned, Lebenssucht... So maybe you wait for Thursday to combine orders and save on shipping. Oh, and on the 9th preorders for the new Ill Tidings album will start.
